It will be a tricky game, but worth remembering that Leicester have lost to Watford and Newcastle, and drawn to West Ham, in Rodgers’ eight games in charge. The win against ten-men Arsenal, at home, was their only victory against top-half opposition. A good team on the up, no doubt, but we shouldn’t build them up too much. We’ve won 17 out of 18 at home in the league this season.
They were playing at the Amex
They are pushing for EuropeAgree, if Leicester was pushing against relegation or for something like Europe then fair enough but they'll come to take chances on the break but that will be it.
They aren't a defensive side and if we can contain Vardy on the break then I don't really see where the threat will come from, we put 5 past them at home last year and without Mahrez they aren't a better team.
The bank holiday should work in our favour too because everyone will of had the day off and probably had a few in anticipation so we should get a fantastic atmosphere.
I've seen two excellent teams play against us at our place (Spurs twice and Liverpool) and both had more than something to play for and we beat them both.

Sadly they're full of injuries as well.Newcastle have won 7 from their previous 8 home games. Was amazed to read that. Gives me some hope Scousers may drop points there.
Not holding breath on that happening though. We just have to see out our job.

The game could turn in which Shelby turns up, the one with dips in his heart or the one to prove a point.

In how many of those previous 8 home games did they concede 2 penalties and go down to 10 men in the first 15 minutes?Newcastle have won 7 from their previous 8 home games. Was amazed to read that. Gives me some hope Scousers may drop points there.

Wolves here (again!). If you win the league this year due to us beating Liverpool at anfield on May 12th do you think Pep will donate us Aguero for a season as a gesture of thanks? Just a thought.....

Surely Aguero wouldn't be your first choice? Jimenez has been brilliant this year.Wolves here (again!). If you win the league this year due to us beating Liverpool at anfield on May 12th do you think Pep will donate us Aguero for a season as a gesture of thanks? Just a thought.....

But the whole hype of the lead changing hands is pretty much a false one over recent weeks because of scheduling playing us on different days and the media drumming up the lead swapping situation. At the end of each week we have been top and they have been second. I'm just an old fart , but years ago when all teams played on the same day and kicked off at the same time , the headlines would have been, City stay on top, Liverpool fail to close the gap again. Not actually true - we played first several weeks, but were a game behind because of our FA Cup run. That's zilch to do with Sky or the media
