Why we will win the league!

Chelsea are away in europa league on the thurs night before playing the scousers on the Sunday, not ideal ...
If we don’t get any points on Wednesday we’d be behind with the same games played mate.

Not sure what you’re struggling to understand?
think he means its like were playing catch up every week but then again its the same for them if we win wed

It’s the Palace game that worries me. We’ll be well up for rags and spurs and should win the other games. Palace are a weird team and can beat anyone on their day. Pretty much on 40th anniversary of Hillsborough too.

Palace have only had 10 such days out of 31 this season.

1 of them being the anomaly against us and 4 of the other 9 being their games v Huddersfield and Fulham.

They’re shit and any team worth their salt, needing a win to maintain a title push, should be seeing to them.

we shouldnt have any problems at palace but teams do raise there games like they did against Liverpool 3-2 that year, 7 cup finals and take each one as it comes and fuck them and what they do, i'd love to win this on goals, that would really fuck them off

They are really busting a gut to get these victories, we are strolling through them. That says it all, the law of probability means they SHOULD eventually drop the necessary points, if they don’t then fairs dos to them but I suspect it may be to no avail and the stress might bust a few Klopp blood vessels and create a few scouse coronary conditions.

Time to remind everyone ...
Keep calm and go re-read the very first post ;)

We’ve got what it’d take ... and they don’t. So take it easy, we’ve got this!

Quite a lot being made of Liverpool having a much easier run-in. I think it's overstated. Assuming we beat Cardiff (yes, I know should never assume anything, but let's go with that for now). then the following fixtures are left (grouped by comparable opponents, rather than chronological):

Palace vs City
Southampton vs Liverpool

Liverpool vs Chelsea
City vs Spurs

Burnley vs City
Cardiff vs. Liverpool

Brighton vs City
Newcastle vs Liverpool

City vs Leicester
Liverpool vs Wolves

United vs City
Liverpool vs Huddersfield

The first 5 groups are all comparable. The only clear advantage for the Scousers is the last one. Makes it even clearer that win at the Swamp and we very likely win the title. And given our record there and that we are a better team, no reason we can't come out tops there too.

Finally, there is GD which could come into play if (say) we lose 1 game and Liverpool draw one. Assuming we match Liverpool on GD in the first 5, it is very unlikely they can overhaul our overall GD advantage - would have to beat Huddersfield by 9 clear goals (assuming we win by 1 at the Swamp).

Agree first five groupings are similar, where we have a huge advantage is

United vs City
Liverpool vs Huddersfield

We are going to be thrashing the fakers while they have a huge challenge against a team which has nothing to lose.

And also we should be wanting revenge for them beating us .
