Why we will win the league!

Wolves here (again!). If you win the league this year due to us beating Liverpool at anfield on May 12th do you think Pep will donate us Aguero for a season as a gesture of thanks? Just a thought.....
No because then you'll be a serious contender for the league next season.

Loved watching Wolves and I hope you stay in the prem for a long time.

Oh and truly hope you hammer the scouse twats!

Beat them first then we'll talk! Hope you guys get into Europe, although it is a long slog, you've been a real positive to the league this season and had a great FA Cup run. Shame you didn't make the final, although personally I would rather be playing Watford!

Personally, Boly's handball goal giving you 2 extra points and us beating Leicester and Watford to give you guys a European adventure next year should be more than enough gratitude. Bloody youth of today always want more ;-)

Would you like Mahrez.........?!

Only joking!!

We could do with Liverpool getting a good result tonight, or at least one that keeps them very much in the tie. What we don't want is them effectively out tonight, so the league is all that's left. If they are in touch with Barca after tonight their players night just subconsciously ease up at Newcastle.

1 extra point

1 extra point

Quite right, obviously still thinking of the 2 points it cost us.

On reflection I suppose we should be grateful for that extra point as otherwise we would be level on points and be expecting to see at least 4 dodgy penalties and 2 offside goals at St James Park as the mighty "doing it the right way"underdogs eliminate the goal difference advantage.

I would prefer them to be pyschologically pressured.

Im not yoo sure which I prefer.

Close defeat tonight meaning they will have one eye on the return leg when they play Newcasle. Or comprehensive defeat tonight meaning that the only way to save their season is to beat Newcastle increasing the pressure considerably.

I'm not sure how mentally strong they are as a group. Looking at Klopp over the last month or so I'd suggest not as strong as us. We came out of the Spurs defeat looking utterly determined not to let the league drop. I suspect they'd be the same but it's phycologically different to chase and it must be so fucking demoralising for them to keep seeing us win.

Still, overall, I want them to lose narrowly tonight. Maybe a nice 3-1 or whatever which keep their hope alive. To be honest I'm not greatly bothered if they win it as long as we win the treble.

I agree but if they do win it, nobody else in the world will know that we have done what has never been done before.

i dont agree with the mental strength argument, i mean both teams have won a lot of games on the bounce while under a lot of pressure.

I don't either and I think the PL has been shown up this year because had mental strength been the issue then we should of lost vs Spurs, United or Burnley. The difference between 1st/2nd and the rest is just immense.

Historically one team would drop points eventually but the most likely scenario is we will probably both win our last 2 games 5-0.

It has been a bit like La Liga this year and drawing at Anfield and beating Liverpool at home is the difference between the title and 2nd.

I think it will be the greatest team achievement ever if we do it because around Xmas we were 8 points behind. We also haven't had the luxury of 2 warm weather training camps, we've had lots of injuries and we have played far more games than anyone else.

Can't wait for VAR next season, we'll romp it again.
Hmmm we are down on CL VAR this season & much as I'd like to, I can't see anything changing with decisions next season.

We will get pens like the Burnley one & probably the Wolves goal wouldn't have counted but just think how many handballs/pens will be awarded against us.
