All this recent stuff in the news makes me think we are 100% getting a LB in the summer. We're not gonna say "oh yeah we are proper desperate for a LB" only to watch every team add £20 million to their LB's valuation. And to say the money is needed elsewhere when really all we need is a DM and a LB to complete the squad.

Bin Mahrez off, convert Gabby to a winger and buy Jovic.
At least try to buy De ligt and sell Ota. If the former doesn't happen, promote Garcia to 3rd/4th choice.
Buy Lala and sell Danilo
Buy B.Fernandes and sell Gundogan
Buy a Cdm(Rodri/Ndombele)
Sell Bravo(Steffen) and Mangala(no-one).
At least try to buy De ligt and sell Ota. If the former doesn't happen, promote Garcia to 3rd/4th choice.
Buy Lala and sell Danilo
Buy B.Fernandes and sell Gundogan
Buy a Cdm(Rodri/Ndombele)
Sell Bravo(Steffen) and Mangala(no-one).
And not be aware that we signed a goalie.

I suppose sterling has started to do that very well and would probably be picked over Jesus in a big game as the central striker if kin as out, but that then means we need a new RM doesn’t it? Unless you’re happy with Mahrez of course and think he’s going to help us beat teams in the champions league latter stages?!

Ok, I see what you’re saying. Jesus should definitely stay (from a city perspective), there’s definitely much more to come from him. I’d still rather we bought a striker than a LB.No but I'm being realistic. I don't see Jesus or Mahrez going anywhere in the summer so with that being that all we would require is a LB and a DM. Assuming Bruno Fernandes, Joao Felix and Rodri arrive we will have to shift 3 players on.
If Fernandes is coming then most likely Gundogan is gone. Who else goes though? Danilo, Delph and Otamendi look the most likely but that would leave us a right back and centre back short.
We’ve been linked with Lala yesterday who would cover right back. Who do we think for centre back, bearing in mind we may need an association trained player...

Sounds to me like Pep is really focusing on our midfield and attack. And any defensive signings (replacements for Danilo and Otamendi) will be relatively cheap.
Bruno, , Rodri and Felix seem like the top targets from reports.

The CB sounds like a big money move to be honest and I reckon that’s why we are not getting a LB as well. I think nico wanting out has changed things.

We are not signing De Ligt by all accounts. So can't imagine other than him....who would cost 50m+?

If we have a similar season next year we can expect to play around 60 games. Based on the last two seasons, Zinchenko would be required to play around 50 games, in a position he is still learning.
If you’ve ever dabbled in the stock market, you’ll know the past is often a poor indicator of the future. That aside, I’d be confident City are buying the best possible medical opinion.

Not a surprise. Silva, Aguero and Ferna are in their 30s and there are rumours we may be subjected to a transfer ban in Jan summer 2020.
This transfer window is especially important to us.
