This fake news word that is used these days is so fucking wrong. It's downright lies and should be called out as such.
 
I thought 'battered in the streets' just referred to them being pissed up after the game because they'd lost.
That should be the line anyway.

Standard media. Liverpool win the moral league as their players or fans would never do this. Certainly never sang Munich songs to the rags. Definitely never attacked Juventus songs and definitely didn't get English teams banned from European competition for their fans behaviour.

Also didn't attack our team coach. And didn't mean to push people into a fountain in Barcelona. But were victims of a vicious attack by Roma fans and hooligans in Kiev.

We have been singing that all season but funnily it comes up now! Within a couple of days of winning the league we are facing a ban from Europe and our players are scum.

They definitely didn’t wear T-shirt’s supporting a racist either, somehow reversing the incident to be... am I allowed to say the victim?

They didn’t chuck a flare at a disabled Chelsea fan either.
 
135 people have been killed at NEVERPOOL matches in recent history.

NEVERPOOL were found entirely responsible for the deaths of 39 fans at Hysel and 14 NEVERPOOL fans were jailed.

Every English football league club was banned from European competitions for 5 years.

The 29 May is the anniversary of Hysel.

Let’s go into ‘single focus campaign’ mode to raise the profile of this shocking event and NEVERPOOLs proven guilt by referencing it in every media outlet in the days leading up to the 29th.

Forget the ‘noise’ just concentrate on the facts of the event and anniversary and let’s get all football fans,who are very disposed towards us currently, raising the profile of this snowpaked tragedy.

Saw on Match of the day there was a fan with a flare in the crowd on Sunday.
Camera pointed straight at him.

More coverage for City players singing that song than for Liverpool's attack on our players.

I also remember walking past the away fan coach park on my way out of the decisive game at the Etihad and watching them fighting with Police. They were like animals that evening and have the cheek now to feel offence. We should dig out the flyers their fans put out for the Manchester City fans Coach Welcome. The same fans who are running around now offended will be the same fans who wanted to scare the Mancs back to Manchester and who bottled our team.

Yes.

And, meanwhile, the disgusting post on twatter where a dipper is wishing for the City FC plane to crash remains.

Perhaps this report that hertsblue mentioned above, on how (away) fans behave, should include the disgusting shit that they post on social media too.

But they are near untouchable because they use Hilsborough as a fall back shield to gain sympathy and excuse their own appalling attitudes. They diminish the memory of those poor souls who were killed that day when they turn to it or use it as a defense - to some 'fans' it's become their 'racist' card when no disrespect has occurred.

Vermin is a good word for these people.

The entire narrative coming out of Anfield, from their fans as well as their '2nd largest shareholder' - which the sycophantic media have used as a 'reliable source' - as well as the continued media bias leaves a bad taste and taints the whole ethos of what should be a beautiful game....

But, like others have said, we can, and should, see it as sour grapes and just go on enjoying the success of a great bunch of players, their manager and fan base - who can all hold their heads up, rise above it and keep on winning :)

But, for anyone outside looking in, it is tainting the image of football, the glory and achievement of winning one of the toughest Premier League battles ever and making one club look like embittered glory hunters.

i mean, how many of our fans were glued to their phones, or screens, watching the Liverpool game on Sunday?

We were enjoying watching our team win - some fans even buying tickets into the Brighton end to do that - not focusing on what someone else was doing.

Liverpool have been chasing us. The media said we were 'swoping blows at the top of the league.'

No, we weren't. We were winning consistently, and were only stepping down from the top spot because they played their game before us. They were chasing. And they have been chasing for a long time.

They couldn't enjoy watching their team win against a very capable Wolves because of their embittered attitude of privilege.

They did well, better than well, tbf. 97 points is an awesome achievement for any club. Why can't they just be happy that they did that, concede that another team did better and move on - without the savagery and deplorable comments?
 
Still no action taken on this fan, repeatedly being filmed cowardly assaulting innocents at LFC games, yet they are offended by a harmless song?
