Players allegedly singing “Allez” song

I remember the whole team singing "You're not Munich any more!" to Terry Cooke on live TV in the dressing room after the playoff win. Didn't see that plastered all over the media ;-)

I just feel sorry for the Everton fans who have had to live with their shit for so long.

I remember when Leicester won the title and Everton fans were giving their tickets to LCFC fans so they could see the final game, cup presentation etc - a breed apart from the red scum across the park who'd probably have thrown them in any available fountain rather than do them a favour.

But then we are a breed apart from Utd, tbf.

I've got a confession to make on this. Myself and a fair few mates have had far more grief with Everton fans down the years at matches than we have with Liverpool fans and as such we always disliked them more. There's generally more of an edge to games between us and Everton which reached it's zenith around the time of the Lescott transfer, and there always seems to be an incident every time we play them at home, even as recently as this season when 2 Evertonians got outed in 110/111 and got escorted out but not before they'd taken a few digs (to their credit, they were still playing up to the away fans as the punches were raining in on them!). However, when you think about it it's not actually that surprising that it's been like that. After all, Everton's main match-going support will be made up of of local working class people as will ours, and then when you factor in the general Manchester/Liverpool rivalry it makes for a potential powder-keg. Liverpool, on the other hand, have a far lower percentage of local working-class match-going fans and Anfield is like a tourist attraction on a match day. It's diluted as fuck.

Now that we've been in 2 recent title battles with Liverpool, my views of Everton and Liverpool fans has changed dramatically. While I think City v Everton games will continue to have an edge to them, I honestly think that if we were in a title battle with Everton that it would never be as toxic as it has been with Liverpool as they don't have the cult-like mentality of their neighbours.

We need a hasty re write of the song for Saturday to include the scousers and media outrage and the latter airbrushing our success.

The media and the scousers, crying in the street, Sterling won the double/treble the media darlings won fuck all.

Good post. It's also because Liverpool seem to have as many armchair fans as United, and so their medium of support is the internet. Mock outrage can easily be whipped up on social media these days, and the press will latch onto it for a cheap and easy story.

Anything that gets under the skin of the fucking feral ratty grieving twats is good by me.
It's fine for them lowlife bastards to attack the team coach aided and abetted by the Scouse coppers, but it upsets them that the players were singing a song about them.
They really are a weird fan base...I'm pretty sure that the allez allez song will be sung loudly at Wembley.
What happened to that legendary Scouse sense of humour?.. or is it only when they are not on the receiving end of shit that's it's funny.
Fuck the Scouse twats.. professional Grievers every one of them

It’s a very grainy video. Can’t even see any players singing it. Can’t identify any of our players so might need some help

Also whoever filmed it was right at the front so could be cabin crew

Still in 2nd place
Refs helped every game
Milner is offside
They are the supporters
who play the victim card

Make out Gundogan but he only seems to join in for the Allez Allez Allez bit, I doubt any of the foreign players were singing or know the other verses.

Decent one on reddit

A record breaking season,

The league you thought you’d won,

Goals from Serge, Laporte and Mahrez,

And that one from Gundogan,

John Stones’ goal line clearance,

No Kompany red card,

Crying to the media,

Because you’re all so fucking mard,

Allez allez allez

Sorry if already posted but this is post from a liverpool fan on ragcafe in response to liverpool being responsible for Heysel. The nerve they have to moan about a song. Offended by everything. ashamed of nothing. He was banned straightaway.

"Thats your defence for Heysel? FFS

Heysel happened because asshole Juventus supporters decided to go to war with Liverpool supporters, naturally the Liverpool supporters are not going to stand there and let these italian pricks have their own way so they fought back. During that fight a wall fell and Juventus supporters died. Naturally Liverpool supporters were blamed for that.

So many people pick up on the "Liverpool cost us European places for years". No they didnt, the fecking asshole italian ultras did. They got into a fight that they lost, miserably and horribly. Like many fans in the euros when the russians went on a rampage, they targeted english fans. That was ok? no, thanks to social media and the like, more people were made aware, back in the 70's though, not so much.

Heysel happened because of italian assholes who thought they could pick on the innocent, they paid for it. A shame? yes, but they would not have died if they were not such pricks to start with.

It was easy though to blame it on the Liverpool supporters, being from England and at that time having a horrible reputation for hooliganism, our FA and Government didnt know the facts of what happened, only that it was easy to blame the Liverpool supporters and accepted any punishment that was handed down."
