Our title win is a distant (forgotten) memory already. The media have already decided next year is Liverpool's year and they are going to improve ! Clearly the Dippers will need to improve to make up for the dodgy offsides and penalties that VAR may deny them.

Don't think it'll happen but we bought Nolito in Peps first transfer window and tried for Alves and Sanchez recently. Mahrez was approaching 28 when we bought him

Absolutely. And with Fern, Silva and Kompany on last legs, Otamendi likely to go and possibly Gundy as well maybe a player or two at that age is right balance. Blend of experience and youth required.

We can point to Fern and Barry as two very good late 20’s buys. Nolito not so much but shows Pep isn’t shy at buying at this age.
