Got to say I’m conflicted after watching it. Andy also seemed pretty genuine and fronted up. According to him, Rabin didn’t have an issue and didn’t ask for it to be deleted.

Andy’s reasoning for recording it (to send to Ray) also seems reasonable but I also understand Rabin’s fears.

Seems like crossed wires and we can suspend the BM witch-hunt for now.

Well if he was never gonna and never intends to show it, why do it in the first place and so cause all this nonsense, to send to ray is a poor excuse imho.

As long as it never comes out should end here really

I only watched as far as "it was me". I'll watch the rest later but is that the person that has threatened to release the video?
 
I don't think what's happened to Rabin is the end of the world (although he should have been told up front that the chat was gonna be filmed) and I'm sure the wounds will heal over time for Rabin even if he's more hardened for the experience.

I actually think it could end up being a good thing. Rabin's sent out hundreds of tweets these past few months so it's probably good if he's rested so he's ready for the start of the season and that tricky period over winter where the media will be going all out for us as we pull clear of Liverpool and United.

Watch the video and he explains it. His (business) partner wasn’t there and he wanted to send it to him.

Yeah cross wires it seems and never one for a witch hunt I like to know the facts before that! Its the way social media is going too or is there now!

Absolutely. Not telling him was a ****'s trick. I think people who have these Youtube channels etc are obviously quite open people so they sometimes struggle to realise how important privacy is for others. But still, I'm sure he can be forgiven.

One would imagine he’s said something along the lines of “what you’ve said in the tweets about out call isn’t accurate and I’ve got the video to prove it, I can post it for verification if you want” (or similar). He also says he’s sent Rabin a copy of it so that Rabin can check the timeline and transcript. He says on several dozen times that he would never post it without Rabins consent.

The best thing about this is that Rabin’s surely now sure that Andy won’t post it after all the who-ha. So he can chill out now and not worry.

I watched it, and said already a poor excuse imho, knew before rabin was tetchy about being recorded, business partner or not, should have not bothered.

Could relay the information verbally later like people have done for centuries

Yep.

Doesn’t explain why Rabin is getting threatening messages about releasing the footage.

He’s clearly trying to take advantage of the situation in order to monitise it for his channel.

He’s partly trying to make himself out to be a victim when Rabin hasn’t once named him and truth is, he’s put Rabin at risk by recording.

He knows full well some of the details can’t be backed up without releasing the footage.

To be fair, if what he says is correct and it was me, I’d protest a fair amount as well.

I’m happy to believe it’s crossed wires and not hang anyone out to dry.
