I agree, screaming about debates and cunts is all a good laugh, but the Tories know that appointing a remainer
will mean their demise. The PLP is dominated by remainers, yet even most of them have realised this, hence his lead.
All the screaming is, for the few of those that are genuine/honest, largely about his character etc.
For the rest it is absolutely and simply an extension of their antipathy towards anything Brexit related - they could/should be more honest about it
If you are seeking to achieve/avoid a certain outcome - in this case to be selected to be the Leader of the Conservative Party - then surely it is important to focus on the things that contribute to that achievement/avoidance and not spend nugatory effort on distractions
Using that simple plain and deniable logic - just why the fuck would Boris be interested in taking part in the 'debates' to date?
Every time he gets into a car he gets a barrage of questions from the media on the street - often of a personal level - and of course certain types of 'debates' will be used as opportunities for more of that
Of course there are going to be many occasions in the future when he is going to need to front up at debates - but this is not one of those occasions
Who are these people on here banging on and demanding that he does this or that debate - to answer these or those questions...…?
What is their role in the Conservative Party leadership selection process?
and - as we all know the answer to those questions:
Why would Boris Johnson not simply think - fuck 'em?
