They all ignored Matliss' authority at various points of the debate, tried to shout each other down and she couldn't control it.
 
The tax thng is so outdated.
It was a tenet of neo liberalism subsequently proven to be utter bollocks by current economists.

A you gov poll on Tory members thoughts on Brexit are staggering

The following are the % scenarios that brexit takes place

63% for if it meant Scotland leaving the Union

61% for if it meant there was significant damage to the UK economy

59% for of it meant Northern Ireland leaving the Union

54% for if it meant the destruction of the tory party

51% against if it meant Corbyn becoming PM

The Tory party have become the party of English Nationalism, the party who would rather the nation be economically damaged than pay taxes. A party where it is more important to be a Brexiteer than a citizen and a party that scared of Corbyn it would sacrifice their whole ethos to stop Corbyn becoming PM. The Conservative and Unionist party destroying the Union over its fixation is just fucking insane

Brexiteers on here would sack our Union off in a heartbeat to get Brexit. The U.K. cannot survive when English nationalism replaces British patriotism. Defending our Union is becoming a lost cause. It’s kind of ironic that Brexit and it’s hostility to the European Union will claim our own Union as its first casualty.

Its a cool story right up to the point you realise that remain SNP and remain Plaid Cymru would fuck brexit off and still want to sack the Union off.

Full credit for bringing English nationalism into it though Bob and the path it gives you to go on to the usual rants.

Because to fulfill the dreams of Scottish and Welsh nationalism they believe being part of a wider European construct can help further that dream. Their nationalism is mixed with the concept of a wider European identity and international co-operation.

English nationalism and Brexit is based on a rejection of a European identity, indeed a hostility to it, and a belief that England should stand alone no matter the consequences.

Regardless of what the SNP and PC want, the people would have to vote out for it to happen. When we were in the EU and promised Scotland the best way to stay in the EU was staying part of the union, they rejected independence. Not a chance they will now. Wales possibly less so, but once they're in an even worse state than they are now as part of an independent UK, be interesting to see how the mood shifts.

Someone who has a plan, whilst not a perfect plan is seen as un-electable whereas someone who has no plan and no details whatsoever is going to become the next leader of the Tory party. Very odd times, indeed

One way or the other this will finish the Tory Party. We won't be leaving with no-deal, that is pretty much guaranteed unless the Tory Party become the Brexit Party via a general Election i.e in cahoots with Farage

He has no credible plan other than to try and do what May did and that is sell the country down the river and keep us in the EU.
