There’s always a solution though. We ought to have been fucked because of our left back situation, yet Delph and Zinchenko stepped up and we got 198 points. There’s always a solution.

Have you watched him for Dortmund? He's absolutely terrific. He's only 19 years old (4 years younger than Sane), last season he played in 34 league games, scored 12 goals and got 14 assists. In Sane's last season with Schalke (when he was 19), he scored 8 goals and had 6 assists. Having watched him for Dortmund, I would say he is a very good player now and has the ability to be a world beater.
 
So, Mirror first report that Bayern have made no offer and then cite Metro that an offer of £72 million has been rejected. Think Bild are more reliable regarding transfers of German players than Mirror.

We had Kev, Mendy, Dinho and Stones out for long enough periods and still won the league (and the treble).

I will never understand this stronghold Sané has over some. He seemingly makes people irrational even though he's not even the best wide player at the club.

Too late for that, all the ground work has been done by the establishment at Bayern.... half baked apologies don’t wash with me, they’re snides who I wouldn’t piss on if on fire. Because of what we are trying to project as a corporation, we neglect some key areas of what it is to be a city fan, 99% of blues want to shout ‘let’s have it then you bratwurst eating shizers’, it’s a Manc thing I guess but I’d be letting these wankers know exactly who we are and reminding them of the crap they have thrown our way for 10 years...

I think Pep summed up the club's thinking when he said in his press conference that Leroy has had City's offer for 9 months to a year, and he'd like to keep him but the club's done all it can.

What he's essentially saying is that the club values Leroy at the offer they made him a year ago and he's not done anything to change their opinion since.

Sterling wanted huge money, seemingly got told no because the talks hit a wall, went off and won us a bunch of games and then said "what about now?"

Leroy's not made them reconsider yet. It's one of the reasons I'm hoping he makes it through this transfer window because then he's got 9 months to start delivering that potential to be the best attacker in Europe and if he does, he'll get paid like it, Khaldoon and Soriano aren't shy about paying out.
 
Kicker reporting that Sane has decided to join Bayern. Let’s hope they’re wrong.
 
Kicker in Germany said the fee has been agree for over €100 million. They’re Bayern’s mouthpiece in Germany - seems like this has got legs. Bye Leroy!
 
What's the chances Gundogan and Sane will do a combined contract extension on the same day soon?
 
Bit gutted about this. Been a while since we lost a player who we didn’t really want to. Who was the last? SWP?

100m euros is 91m pounds, right?

Only way I can see us accepting that is if it's up front, lump sum so we can spend it immediately. Otherwise, I'd expect us to be wanting that + add ons as a minimum.
