Much as it pains me to say it but Castles has actually behaved like a proper journalist and checked the actual wording of the new handball rules. It is amazing how many media people have just repeated the claim that the Jesus decison was in line with the new rules and the VAR team had no choice. Swarbrick claimed Oliver saw the Rodri incident (false) and that the Jesus goal decison was based on the IFAB guidance (false) but was not challenged even though the true version of events was all in the public domain.Castles shows what is presented on the Premier league website is NOT the same as the IFAB guidelines.

Sorry, but what is presented on the Premier League webaite is not the Law of the game. There is only one handball Law and it’s the one written by IFAB (under the influence of the Premier League, in this case). You can read them here: http://www.theifab.com/laws
Amazing a united supporting journo has done his homework on it and nobody else.
