To be fair rugby league has tweaked the video ref system several times before settling on the current system

Yes with experience the system has changed and evolved.

Football could use the experience gained in other sports and adapt accordingly surely ?

Cancel that question because the bloody PiGMOL sect don't want the failings of their officials highlighted as it might reveal their level of incompetence ( or bias ).

Have any of those 32 involved a penalty given where it's clear there's been no contact?

No contact is needed, nor does a player need to go down. The daft thing is refs rarely give a pen if a player does not go down, and make up their own laws.

Interesting, considering Dermot will be talking in line with what pigmol tell him to say, that he’s not even tried to explain ours away. You really couldn’t make it up, as clear a bent decision as you will ever see.

i thought there was something inthe rules that meant that that wouldnt be a penalty/offence against the player that it hit...something along the lines of distance to react or something?
