Leaving with a soft Brexit is the best case for social cohesion in the short to medium term, possibly long too and respecting the fact that we’re at close to 50/50, then and now but it isn’t the best overall position for the country to take.
Leaving with a deal will damage the country for years to come and will make us weaker. The difference is at least it probably won’t cause another 2008, result in medicine and food shortages or ruin international treaties, that hold peace together.
Remain is the best option and always has been and if you ask me to vote again and again, I’ll only ever vote remain or parties offering a way out of Brexit.
The one benefit a deal has is that it’ll pour water on the flames that exist with leavers and remainers. I’ve been watching question time and listening to leavers and I’m angry listening to some of the shite they’ve said about democracy, betrayal etc. but having calmed down I just think we need this behind us and quickly. But my position is that no deal isn’t putting it behind us, it’s destroying ourselves whilst kicking our future relationship with the EU down the road.
