Can't believe the dipper sympathisers on this thread. The incident that led to United's counter attack goal, there was contact but he chose to go down because he lost the ball not because of the contact(which wasn't heavy contact at all). That's why it's not clear and obvious, was he impeded enough to go down or did he make the choice to go down? Furthermore because of the penalty Mané was given against Leicester which definitely should have been overturned by VAR(even the broadcasters agreeing with that for once) at worst they've just had one of their gifts evened out. They still have no room to complain about bad luck and being screwed over by refs, they get too much going their way with refs these days.
They'd not be able to handle it, if Liverpool started getting the City treatment that's for sure, looking at the reaction to that semi-injustice. Those happen every other game for City and the ref waves play on with a big smile on his face. Latest example being, Rodri was brought down for Wolves' second goal, not only was it not looked at by VAR but Sky wouldn't show it again to give us a second look at it. Rodri was appealing which is the cue to look at the incident normally.
The handball was one you'd want given, he directly gained control of the ball and then scored thanks to the handball. How can anyone argue with that?
