Really don't know what all you Tory boys are worrying about anyway.
There biggest concern will be losing Scottish seats to SNP and southern seats to lib Dems, there won't be many Tory seats switching to red.

Don't need a moat my friend. The lookout will let me know of trouble if anything encroaches on my 3,000 acre estate.

Actually, being serious for 1 moment, your post illustrates what a fucking mess you've got yourself into, if you imagine that all Tories are toffs who are loaded.

Most of us live on housing estates, estates which have abandoned Labour.
And which council estate do you live on?

Can one of the leavers/Tories explain why the WAB has been pulled, by the Tory "government", after it was passed by 30 votes?

Isn't this stopping Brexit being debated and passing through parliament in time?

Because it was made clear by the SNP, Lib Dems, DUP and many independents and Labour MP's that they would never vote for any deal the Government brought.

Yes they voted by 30 to get it to the second stage but then made it clear that it was only to amend it to the point that it was no longer acceptable to others in Parliament and probably in doing that neither to the EU.

Is the correct answer.

Not that this is open to any debate - those on every side have admitted it.

Climb back under your duvet as the coming months are going to upset you i think Vic.
I'll be too busy securing the Labour vote in this constituency. From this morning's phoning we might just be OK. The anti-Corbyn vote is the only worry and that's him not the policies. The 88 year olds are still banging the Brexit drum; it is hard to admit the world has changed.

Dispatches has got some thinking that £350m a week for the NHS won't matter much if we're sending more than that to US big pharma.

You mean you have told them spending money with an American company is somehow selling the NHS off to Donald whilst spending it with another foreign pharma company isn't?

So his "great deal" is actually a bit shit, so is doomed to fail without amendments. OK, got it.

What's wrong with amendments that are voted for by a majority of MPs? This is normal parliamentary process, isn't it?

It's not like there's not enough time, now. Although, once again, it's running out!

If there's no election this year (IMO: there won't be), then they're going to have to bring it back at some point and won't be able to stop it being amended/scrutinised, so why not just get on with it?

Even if they do win a majority, what's to say that all the elected Tory MPs will vote for it?

All I see from any GE now is either a slim Tory majority or another hung parliament. Maybe it's wishful thinking, but I don't see a big Tory majority happening. Too many strong remain areas with sitting Tory MPs vs strong leave with Labour to call it with any accuracy, even based on the latest polls.

This will never end!

We should either be leaving this week or revoking A50. But no, around and around we go... FFS!

Its an international treaty so not amendable without the blessing of those that made it, ie. EU and Dublin.

Shit or not dependant on what flavour of brexit/remain you want, its not amendable.

You mean with the amendments it would have been a Brexit deal acceptable to a majority in Parliament but not to the PM - so it would be the Tories stopping Brexit.

You haven't watched the programme, have you?

Eh? If it can't be amended why did you say...

Either it can be amended, or it can't?

What about Dublin and the EU 27?

For moths you told us nothing but the fact their agreement was with the government and couldnt be renegotiated so whats changed Vic?

Nothing is the answer.

It was nothing but yet another tactic to frustrate.

The 19 Labour MP's that voted for it let that cat out of the bag by not going along with the remain games.

No it cant because it aint coming back to this parliament.

My guess is a new majority Tory government with a far more brexity flavour might really piss remain MP's and voters off.
