Dear God, give me strength. More than half the BT shares were sold to the public - to people like you and me. Well not you obviously because the fucking enormous chip on your shoulder weighed you down too much to fill the fucking application forms in.

The same with most of those sells offs. They were discounted so heavily that most who applied for BT or British Gas or any of the other sell off shares the vast majority flipped them to make a fast buck - most of the people I knew who got them did so. The big institutions were happy to pay as they wanted their hands on as many as they could get as the supply to them had been limited and they knew full well there was 30 - 50 years good dividends in those sort of share holdings - Mr Smith from Doncaster just wanted to fund his next car or foreign holiday.

Crazy stuff from Corbyn today. I am actually glad him and Ronald McDonald has come out with this guff now as he has considerably lessoned his chances of becoming PM. Spend spend Spend, Tax tax tax. And it would be middle income earners who would be taxed the highest.

Except the 62% polled today that agreed with it against the 22% that didn’t?

62% of people when asked if they'd like some free stuff said yeah, that's a great idea.

Well, fuck me sideways. Who'd have thought it?

First rate gammoning! So what you're saying is that wether or not the share price is fair is dependent upon who buys the shares, not on the value of the company, the number of shares and the share price. Interesting...

What? Since when? Are the middle earners on £80k now?

George galloway is standing in west brom east as an independant for brexit, so not sure where you get he is voting labour from

He was endorsing them the last I heard.

Regardless to bully people by labelling them as being fascists for voting for the Tories is fucking not on.

Tax cuts to business generally help the economy Len.
High taxation generally actually brings the tax take down as those with good accountants like @BobKowalski find ways of not paying it.
Austerity certainly needs to end and i was never in favour of it because it also kills the economy but whilst its right we spend money on services, the teenager with his Dads Gold Amex card approach isn't the right way of going about it.
Thankfully McDonnell wont be allowed anywhere near the countries cards.
Tax cuts to business "generally" help the economy do they mate.?
Oh you mean the 'trickle down' effect ?
Well "generally" those tax cuts appear to have resulted in excessive pay rises and bonuses for directors, sifted away in the Cayman islands or at best in increased shareholder dividends or even in paying good accountants to avoid tax.
The Gold Amex card you say. Well fcuk me Osborne maxed out on that years ago and Tories have been taking out loans on other cards since - national debt up to 1.8tn doubled in the last ten years.
Should have been about 1.2tn and falling if the Tories original plans had been met.
Still when there's enough mugs around to believe the bullshit everything's good.

Great rant Len.

He's standing as an independent in Tom Watson's former constituency.
