The price of fish.

Or river cobbler or Panga ( Pangasiidae ) Really tasty for a farmed Catfish. Had something similar in the States years ago tasted like a cross between Cod and Salmon, again farmed Catfish. Interestingly they took a while to get it over here due to concerns about the farming methods and pollution of said farms.
It's a good source of protein mate is Basa. But with all the dodgy grub we eat nowadays makes me think it has links to cancer with all the nasties in processed shite the poorer are forced to buy.

But that is for debate elsewhere. This is about the price of fish, the taste of fish, and err, the taste of a cat's ring, apparently: /

It is indeed mate but that 'lovely' looking fillet of fish Basa on the supermarket shelves is fish farmed in worse conditions in Thailand and Vietnam.

Quite a few unscrupulous UK chippy's have served up Basa as cod as the taste and texture are similar. But I can tell the difference as Basa is of a more snotty texture and tastes bland compared to cod.

Basa is a made up name, no such species. It is a catfish.

Don't eat that shit either.
I will stick to deep fried cats arseholes.

Heading up to Alaska next summer, hoping to get another 100lb of salmon and halibut. By the time I buy my beer and plane ticket, maybe just a bit cheaper than store bought

It all gets vacuum sealed and frozen, brought that much home twice now. Any delays and you have a big cook up when you get home and smoke all the salmon

And don't call me Shirley
