I think that you are missing the point here that maybe in your head these policies they don't work and never will. But the fact of the matter is that policies like renationalising trains is very popular and poll that way that's why they are selected. Maybe you can explain why this socialist shit is still around after all this time why the 2 biggest beacons of that the NHS and welfare are still here and perhaps whilst you are there tell mw why are the Portuguese and Spanish electing this socialist shit? Heaven knows ? Perhaps you have a good laugh when this socialist shit is gone just like yesterday when you were fist pumping as they voted down the proposals to ensure child refugees are protected as part of the new Brexit bill.

selling it have been annihilated, but god loves a trier.

If Labour had half the amount of spending commitments then people might believe in it. The scale of it though was just incredible to the point of being completely ridiculous.

I'm happy to renationalise the railways, abolish hospital parking charges and have more money for the NHS. But free broadband, free tuition fees, nationalisation of many other industries, free prescriptions etc etc etc all added in too....

It's not even socialism, it's stupidity and naivety at best to believe they could deliver even 10% of what they promised.

Just because we have a right wing populist government right now doesn't not mean that its permanent fixture in this country. Once this whole Brexit has blown up people will start to smell the coffee. The reason Labour were annihilated wasn't all down to socialist policies as you want to imagine it was

People of your ilk have been thinking like that for 50 years. Unless Labour and their band of immature momentum followers take a dose of reality the majority of the electorate will continually suffer because of it. You lot keep putting in power the very people you despise.
 
Should have stuck with the 2017 manifesto and backed leaving the EU and they would have done better, still lost because of Corbyn being unelected, but still better.

Theres a lot of good politicians who aren't media friendly purely because of their perceived media personalities. Behind the scenes they are the sharpest minds In parliament. The cult of personality is destroying this nation, but thats another debate.

That's the age we live in and have done for 40 years, like it or not. Had we had wall-to-wall TV & radio coverage in 1945, Atlee might not have won as convincingly as he did.

I don't agree that Long-Bailey is the sharpest of minds but agree with the general point.

It won't be long before we've got Ant and Dec running the country.

Starmer seems the best of the bunch from what little I've seen so far, speaks common sense and seems electible.
