I think that you are missing the point here that maybe in your head these policies they don't work and never will. But the fact of the matter is that policies like renationalising trains is very popular and poll that way that's why they are selected. Maybe you can explain why this socialist shit is still around after all this time why the 2 biggest beacons of that the NHS and welfare are still here and perhaps whilst you are there tell mw why are the Portuguese and Spanish electing this socialist shit? Heaven knows ? Have to agree, too many free money policies, i meant delusional in so far as there were far too many. I would have been happier with two or three realistic ones that struck a cord, abolish tuition fees, abandon car parking charges at hospitals in England and such like.

We are on the same page and that's what Labour needs to home and you have to throw a bit of red meat for the headbangers (who will remain nameless) a couple of policies for them too chew on.

If Labour had half the amount of spending commitments then people might believe in it. The scale of it though was just incredible to the point of being completely ridiculous.

I'm happy to renationalise the railways, abolish hospital parking charges and have more money for the NHS. But free broadband, free tuition fees, nationalisation of many other industries, free prescriptions etc etc etc all added in too....

It's not even socialism, it's stupidity and naivety at best to believe they could deliver even 10% of what they promised.

Just because we have a right wing populist government right now doesn't not mean that its permanent fixture in this country. Once this whole Brexit has blown up people will start to smell the coffee. The reason Labour were annihilated wasn't all down to socialist policies as you want to imagine it was
