Bring the Noise

Thought atmosphere not good against Fulham but daft ko time doesnt help plus people saving up for Wed .So much football so cant blame fans for picking and chosing what games they go to .Pep complaing that the ground was not full. While he is a brilliant manager and terific person He should realise fans have only so much money

To many games lately, not only money but time to actually take out and go to a game especially when its live on bbc.

115 was full of families, I don't know why the ticket distribution cant liaise with fans better and say " oh you have a five year old, you might be better in the purposely allocated family stand as apposed to 115 where the word "c**t" is shouted every minute !

I think pepe got put in a corner, why should media pricks ask him that ? It was purely one of those lets try to embarrass you questions.

Spent the first half halfway up 115, my lad was in 113 where people sat down so he moved to 111, at halftime we went to 111 as it was quiet in both bits but he'd run into a guy from 315 we know.

I can't really hear 115 from 315 normally, I take it yesterday wasn't the norm?

Ok folks, tonight let’s show the media (& Pep) just how loud we can be! Make it that the TV bods will have to turn the volume down so they can hear the commentators! Sing, shout, scream, cheer. Thank you.

We’re Man City, we fight to the end, the Boys in Blue never give in, the fans in a Blue are with you lads.
JMHO!

The atmosphere should look after itself tonight. One of those games where fans in all parts of the ground will be joining in, which makes our job in 114-115 (and yours in CB1) a lot easier. Unless we go 2 goals down early on of course, in which case it may well just be you, me, and a few others singing ;)

Genuine question,
do we have a Raheem Sterling chant
to back the lad in bad times
and celebrate him in good times?

Think we need one. More than deserved for what he did.

We’re so strange with chants, us.

“He’s top of the league” is Joleon Lescott’s chant, not Sterling’s. And it’s fucking shit!

Leroy should have a different one and Sterling should have had Leroy’s because Raheem rhymes and fits-in with “Heartbeat” better than Leroy does.

With Fernandinho, we came up with a mint chant for him and now we sing some absolute dross for him that almost every club in the country sings for a player of theirs, it’s fucking woeful and we never sing the decent one anymore.

Mahrez doesn’t have one, Gundogan doesn’t have one, Laporte’s never gets sung, Stones’ never gets sung, Walker doesn’t have one, Otamendi doesn't have one, Mendy doesn’t have one, Zinchenko doesn't have one, Rodri doesn’t have one, de Bruyne’s is fucking shit...

But a huge reason why our atmosphere has nose dived is because we started making up songs about players only as the rule, and we haven’t made up any City chants for about a quarter of a century. So when players leave, we lose their chant and it’s taking too long for new ones to be made up for other players so we are left bereft of songs.

United make up loads of chants about United and those chants can stay forever and the song list never gets empty.

We’re terrible for making up new City chants. Well, to be terrible at it would mean we do it, but we don’t, we never make up any City chants.

The last one might have been TBTITLAATW in about 1997.

If we spent a bit of time stopping trying to think of chants for players who just leave, let’s think up some new decent City chants because then it doesn’t matter who comes or goes, wed have a load of mainstays to chant anyway.

Goodness, I didn't want to start a war on Bluemoon! ;)

Just thought about Raz and how much a roaring support would help him, difinetely.

And oh, I think "Ohh Ke-vin De Bruy-ne" is good, as it's easy to join in (and that's what we need).
You just have to sing it for a longer while, and imagine hearing it interchange between 2 sections, getting louder and louder...

When does the fuckin safe standing finally start??...

correction united have a group of fans who pre-write their chants before the games
