What actually do you want them to do.
Clearly producing a fabulous team winning trophies galore is not it.
I have a vision of Pep being equally comfortable sipping one of those frothy coffee things in Islington, £15 croissant, discussing Engels with his flat cap on and £500 DSquared jeans.
Football sanctions are arbitrary restraint of trade rules so I’ve no issue with him pushing the boundaries in that regard.I would hope he didn't give any newspaper the revenue!
My ire is for Soriano. He's the worst kind of executive. Bloated, aloof and seeing our talented kids as nothing more than dispensable.
Thinks he's clever than he is, which is probably why our lawyers are having to work around the clock to stop us being sanctioned from pillar to post.
Madrid away has sold out.
So both Madrid games have sold out.
On top of 2 League Cup games against United, and the FA Cup game against Fulham.
And don’t forget, the FA Cup draw is tonight, so fans will have to fork out again for an FA Cup game home or away. And a possible replay.
Football sanctions are arbitrary restraint of trade rules so I’ve no issue with him pushing the boundaries in that regard.
You’re right about Soriano but, playing devil’s advocate, his remit is to increase revenue, profitability etc which he does. Had he been instructed to indulge our core support, increase the amount of lapsed city fans coming to games and increase the amount of local passionate youngsters attending then as a capable guy I’m sure he’d have made a decent fist of it.
The problem is everybody’s favourite smooth talking charmer Khaldoon. He makes the decisions, he outlines the strategy. The Spaniards are just well paid lackeys. Khaldoon looks us in the eye in his fairytale end of season schmoozefests, tells us he loves us and we melt like butter. Meanwhile he’s happily pursuing policies that alienate us.
Aye but Sevco are not the best example to follow.
You feel all warm inside for half an hour or so and then the emptiness descends on youI'm not going to bother with Khaldoon's end of season video this season.
Like the season ticket gifts, the novelty has worn off.

yeah I was right behind the goal.
We should tell em to gain an understanding of our core support and start tailoring policies to keep us happy and fucking fast otherwise in 20 or 30 years time when we all stop going there’ll be 25k in the ground at bestshall we tell them to leave the club?
Jesus
My sons 18 and starting to go regularly without me, guess what ,18 year old fans and young fans don't want the same things many older fans seem to want a return to. Don't think he could care less whether our manager or higher ups 'get us' whatever that means, to be honest don't care that much myself either. He just want them to deliver a successful team and good football. It isn't the 1980s anymore it's a different generation. We should tell em to gain an understanding of our core support and start tailoring policies to keep us happy and fucking fast otherwise in 20 or 30 years time when we all stop going there’ll be 25k in the ground at best
We’re not famous like Barca or Real or Bayern and we never will be, Chinese day trippers will always prefer visits to Stretford. We’re storing up trouble for ourselves following tourist friendly policies.

Poor from Pep but I'll forgive him if he gets us another few pots before he goes.
Then again imagine if we were owned by the Glaziers and had Ole at the wheel! Can't help feeling a bit sorry for them poor fckrs.
The bbc have reported the ground was half full. Do they even bother to check our capacity. 39k is half?
Totally agree with every word.I've read most of what there is to read about Pep, in terms of books, etc.
Much as he dresses like he's come in off the street, albeit, one of his jumpers probably costs more than plenty of people earn in a week, I do perceive a major disconnect from him.
He has always created a bubble around himself, surrounding himself with like-minded people, both professionally and personally. Perhaps, that is just to make living away from 'home' that little more palatable?
However, he certainly seems to lack empathy when the press see an 'open goal' and get him to comment on our fanbase in general.
Pep has bemoaned the amount of games the team has been forced to play in recent months, yet cannot acknowledge that the very same supporters who follow City, have the same exacting diary.
They don't earn a decimal of what he or the squad do. City fans are just regular members of society. Christmas and other commitments come along, regardless of income.
The Inland Revenue don't particularly care if I have to budget for my corporation tax and self-assessment in the same month, they want paying end of.
I saw a stat today we have not lost a domestic Cup game in over two years, winning 19 since the loss at Wigan away? Fctoring in Wembley finals and semi-finals, surely no other supporter base has had that set of demands placed upon it.
That's the price of success, I hear the cry? It's as lazy a narrative as those who think all City fans must be loaded just because we have a billionaire owner from Abu Dhabi.
Pep doesn't see it. He is from a different world. Why would he see it? He eats in his own restaurant, he eats in his own private dining areas. He mixes with his own work colleagues and he jets off to the Maldives and elsewhere when there is an opportunity. He can do whatever he wants, nobody would begrudge him, either.
What I don't like is him having a pop at my club.
The blame lies squarely at Soriano and the people who run the club.
They don't give a fuck about asking for Madrid money nine weeks in advance, a United semi-final two days after an FA Cup game against a Championship team, n or games over Christmas, the altering kick-off times and lamentable local transport issues.
The disconnect is huge.
