Why the fuck would we let him go? If Mendy's injured again we're left with Zinchenko who's a completely different player, and it would also mean the end of our 3 ATB experiment. Angelino may be a defensive liability but he's like the spanish Chillwell, average but can whip a good cross.

Angelino is not good enough, thats why. Zinchenko is better and Cancelo is better at LB despite being RB.

If Leipzig want him then let him go, I don't see any point keeping players who are not good enough, especially as we are deep in the cups as well so he won't play.

What's the point of keeping him if he can't get a game? A RB has just been played ahead of him in a cup game.

As much as I wanted him to succeed, it hasn't worked and if his future is elsewhere it's best we put him on display for the next half of the season so we end up getting a bigger fee than we bought him back for.

I think the man united disasterclass was when Pep gave up on him. He's not played a minute premier league football since that match.

Hopefully the intent of this loan deal is to build good relations with Leipzig as well, they've got loads of talented youngsters. Upamecano would fit like a glove in our system, he's technical and quick enough to up catch to opponents attackers on counters

Yeah the championship pace merchant that is Dan James gave him a super hard time that match. So I think that's why Pep binned him. If Dan James can round him like a traffic cone, so could almost any other fast winger in the league

‘Fairly decent’ he was a 50mil transfer, can’t cement a place and I’m yet to see him have a good game. Maybe he will improve but to say he’s impressed any more than Angelino is tough to justify I think

Thought he has played very well the last 3 matches after a shaky start to his City career. Personally, Cancelo has shown he could be a good player for City whereas Angelino has fallen short apart from an occasional good cross.
