If real, it does look bad but if context is provided, we might find that what they are saying is:

1) They need to show cash receipts from partnership income separately to any that relate to direct equity funding.

Anything wrong with that? Not that I can see, it's what the accountants do to show UEFA we are in compliance. Partnership income is fine(I think), direct equity funding is what raises eyebrows but is allowed if UEFA know about it.

This provides context for what follows

2) Therefore partner or equity equity funding needs to be shown separately to be coming from Etisalat, ADTA, or Etihad respectively rather than all in one lump sum.

So this could mean an Abu Dhabi based partner could have paid a certain amount across a number of those and a related partner could have done the same but they'd need to show that separately under each business.

As has been said, if City have proof and can provide the context they said they can, it could look totally different. There wont be any emails they haven't seen.

As far as I'm concerned thats an exculpatory email - or the separate financial trails discussed in it would be.

They are pissed because the money came from ADUG ultimately but as long as on paper it came through the sponsor companies then they cant do anything.

I had become disillusioned with footy, but this today has drawn me back in looking forward to going to the Madrid at home match and giving Ramos shit for 90 minutes the good looking bastard.
This game is where uefa show us who’s boss ...btw who’s the ref for this ?

City only really seemed to get aggressive when the leaks surfaced. Felt to me like we were in the shit but got a lucky break with UEFA cocking up and decided to pounce on it. I am absolutely certain we have not followed the rules in their entirety. Certain of it. But we are preying on UEFA’s lack of a proper and fair process. That’s what it feels like.

This is exactly what i am starting to think.

Rules were made by UEFA and we circumvented some of them,in our Eyes legally.

In big business you by pass rules, regulations, within the remit of the law.Bypassing Taxes etc by using third parties Tax havens etc.

UEFA made rules, and regulations. We have bypassed them in our Eyes,we have broken no laws.Sure it might be considered unethical, unsportsman like. But legally we have done nothing wrong.

How many of these American owners have shares/interests in their Sponsors over in United States ?,lots of them.

It was obvious our Billionaire owner would have many interests in his own country.

UEFA have decided our owner can have no interests in our sponsors.

Yet in United States American Football and Spomsors are pretty much one and the same.

Bayern Munich links with Adidas etc,why is that not considered unfair in Germany.

No one will be able to convince me that our crime was not invented to fit the sentence
