Said it before on here. Repeat it. So proud. We stand up vs the corrupt UEFA and their cartel of darling clubs.

I don’t give a feck whatever happens to the club. If it wasn’t for my love for City I’d be done with football as it is now.

It would be great to win that horrible competition. But UEFA will instruct referees to make sure it won’t happen. No way it will happen.

And let no one ever forget why FFR were introduced. How it was made up the ones who never expected interference from us or Arab owners.

Blinking Eck lads, just got in and thought I have a quick read - only about 1,300 posts behind so just a quick question.
As it stands, should we win it this year will whoever we beat in the final take our place in the super cup and world club competition ?
Sorry if been asked.

Does anyone know what will happen if it gets that far? I can only imagine that at the moment, only the CAS can stop them imposing the ban. If that was the case, we'd basically be out of the competition for at least a season but we could potentially sue UEFA for loss of earnings, damages, players lost or missed out on, potential sponsors and so on, to the tune of... Who knows how much?

I suspect we may end up in the Swiss Supreme Court.

As I have said I don’t read anything anti city as I was finding it was impacting on my well being. It was truly getting me down. Don’t watch any sky at all - just live football. Don’t get involved with any idiots who live in Cambridge and support Liverpool on social media. I can still sense how biased the media is but my only way of enjoying football
Is avoiding it.

Don't worry yourself m8, the powers that be will make sure we don't.

Well said @worsleyweb

If the ban is upheld I can’t imagine many ever going to champions league games again, I know I won’t, the owners and club may not like it but what would they expect.
I was wondering how many will show up for the Real Madrid game in a few weeks. I can’t imagine there’s a lot of enthusiasm for this amongst the fans at the moment.

I really wish Gary james would re publish Manchester City the greatest city with the last twenty years included.

I loved that book.

Surely it's time for the representatives of worsleyweb and GDM to seek arbitration to resolve their issues

No he called me cuddly and was no back up when I was savagely attacked for my coat last year. He is dead to me and all matters are now with the swiss courts. Fuck him.

Undoubtedly time to take the gloves off. However, I just don’t see any Court or Body overturning a decision that will now be lauded non-stop as a triumph of “fair play” over “dirty oil cheats”. We are going to be vilified beyond all endurance. If you want a prediction it’s that CAS will reduce the sentence to a 1 year ban, leaving us still stinking of shit and forcing us to turn to the judiciary in Switzerland, the home of football.
Don’t get me wrong, FFP, this decision, all of it is a bent charade, but the media has ensured that we have already been tried in the court of public opinion, and there will be zero enthusiasm from anyone outside of this forum to exonerate us. There’s been a lot of naivety on here (particularly post Sam Lee and his bollocks), but the reality is that a panel of rag and dipper stooges at UEFA, was never going to care about anything other than protecting “their” clubs from big bad City. Were those individuals personally accountable, it might have been different, but they ain’t. They don’t give a shit about UEFA’s future any more than they do ours.
And doubtless the media witch hunt will now be extended to stripping us of our domestic trophies

I hope, if we get that far, the Swiss Supreme Court is impartial.

They wouldn't let us win it and not be able to defend it,they would have to strip us of it or we get the ban overturned and turn up next season to defend it,either way they look like pricks, the players will expect some terrible reffing in the madrid game,so should we

No super cup a ban is all uefa comps. World club cup is not uefa so no ban, however as it is a totally new format who knows how they will pick the teams?
