Looking like we won’t necessarily have immunity. So far about 14% have re-caught it.
Where did you get that from mate? I'd heard about the two strains possibility but the thinking was that one vaccine would be enough to cover both, and therefore the assumption was that immunity to one strain would provide immunity to both. I had only heard of one case of reinfection, but what I had heard was that there was a strong possibiliy of misdiagnosis of infection #1.

I am not disputing what you say, merely interested in where you heard it?

If 385,000 die as someone predicted on here a few days ago will they just bundle you all together and fry you, I’m all for that to save funeral costs

Have folks read this? If you are of a nervous disposition, I would not:

3-4 mins in he does the numbers. 80% will get mild symptoms, 15% pretty poorly (flu level), 5% critical and will need hospital care to pull through. So if you assume (worst case) that all 66 million of us get it at the same time, then that's about 3.5 million intensive care/ventilator bed spaces which clearly we can't manage - so an increasing number of that 5% will die and you are right to worry. If we slow / contain the spread then all of a sudden it becomes manageable.

ive made my mind up,,when the time comes and we have local infections poping up all over the place in my area then thats me i'm not going anywhere, il be staying in behind locked doors with the mrs, utility bills can wait and the mortgage to,when the time comes ill see you on the other side :-)

Realistically we are an island so should be fairly safe to contain it if we closed all sea and air travel in and out of the country. Other European countries you can drive through countless borders

The Italians talked about 10% of all those infected needing intensive care. Fucking hell.
