It’s a respiratory virus. It gets into your nose, mouth and throat. When there, you “have” the virus. If it gets into your lungs, you start to experience the serious issues that come with the virus, as it starts to attack them. Not sure what getting a respiratory virus has to do with getting into a cut on your leg?im no doc but expect this to be correct and open wound to a virus is like a nice juicy fanny to humans

Fair enoughI didn't mean sandwiches specifically, nor where you got them. But if you are out and about and have not had chance to actually wash your hands thoroughly (and even then) then eating with your fingers is IMO a bad idea. I have no evidence for this, but it just seems to stand to reason that if you might have virus on your hands, you don't want them anywhere near your mouth.

Let’s hope so.Oh, I completely agree about the response in China being amazing... though, I am not sure that is an entirely good “amazing”, as some of the measures the Chinese government have taken have bordered on human rights violations.
But I think the Chinese people caught in the lockdowns and draconian measures themselves have sacrificed immensely for the benefit of the country and the world, and we really shouldn’t down play that contribution.
