This thing is around for a long while yet. There is no way the season will resume on 4th April.

Just void the season. Nobody gets promoted or relegated. You cannot give LiVARpool the title just because they have been the best so far. They have to win it for it to count.
Last years top four play champions league. That would be fair because this seasons Champions league will also be void.
Use the money saved in trying to reschedule everything to go towards flood defences. (for when the dipper tears cause rivers to burst!)
I think they would seriously be happy with some form of "Moral Winners" trophy. They are that sad. They wanted a trophy for coming second last year!

Any teams in promotion places will just have to suck it up. Shit happens. While it wouldn't be fair, it doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things right now.

Anything else just makes it drag on and on.

What would be good is if this was proposed by the Premier league but needed agreement from all 20 clubs to be ratified. We can then veto it and stop it from happening. Everyone hates us anyway so fuck it, and fuck them.

No I’m not spreading panic. Far from it. I’m “watching” full countries go into lock down, build hospitals in weeks, shut down large scale gatherings , sporting and religious events, shut down travel amongst countries.. stock markets plummet, regular supplies run short.. productivity grind to a halt.


I’m not in the know.. nor pretend to be but surely there might actually be a reason for this.

I’m 41 years old and can’t remember anything quite so drastic in my lifetime.

There's nothing more counter productive or guaranteed to drive fear and anxiety, than endless discussions about how bad is bad.

I don't think that situation will be as much of a priority for the Premier League's brand defenders..

It would need 14 yeses. Bottom 3 would vote no and then depends on how far down they think they could get CL places. Then again, cancelling the season and starting again wouldn’t make a difference to most of them. Spurs maybe?

There are clubs who would want this season declared void because of where they presently stand, equally where they stood at the end of last season then comes in to play, you have to reset to somewhere.

Clearly the clubs that got relegated got relegated, but there are some teams who would very much like to return to the end of 2018/19.

I could think of one off the top of my head.

We should probably be a bit bigger than this and just hand them the title as let's face it they would have got the 6 pts between now and May. However, I'm personally confident that if I end up on my death bed breathing my last in a few weeks time, I will still be able to muster a chuckle from my lungs as they fill with my own fluid and I slip away knowing that those ****s saw the title slip from their grasp again. I'm also ensuring there are enough funds set aside for my loved ones to have something snide about the dippers not winning the title engraved on my headstone. Hopefully the majority of folk are not quite this petty and bitter otherwise I despair for the future of humanity.
