The idiocy (and selfishness) of panic buying

But your local butcher won’t run out they can usually restock in a couple of days if they buy their meat locally. Unlike supermarkets they will have a short supply line that probably only supplies a few butchers . Unlike supermarkets that use big meat processors.
Dont know about other areas , I’m in quite a rural area but supermarkets are out of stock of stuff but the local butchers, green grocers, bakers and convenience shops are fine. As the shop in the village down the road put on facebook if you want to panic buy toilet rolls we have plenty in stock.
Same here, it'll all get eaten at some point, even if people freeze it beforehand. The local butchers are even doing parcels to the elderly folk who are isolating or are too worried about coming out so often. Community spirit at its best.

This is exactly what this butcher does. Basically just phone up and he will deliver free if over £20 within a 10 mile radius. Some people are just plain stupid - no other word for it really. I would call them f..king idiots but I am not allowed to swear.

I have just this second ordered two lots of cat litter

It has given me a thought

No bog roll...........

All right kaz! Can’t sleep head absolutely spinning with all this. Went to see dad today and waving through the window as one of the kids not 100 percent! Mental times.

You feeling better??

whatever is left - got loads of firelighters, breadcrumbs, chocolate, coriander and liver.......I am sure there is a Heston Blumenthal recipe that uses them......and snails in porrdige.

Interesting to see what stuff is actually left on the shelves and how desperate the locusts have to get before they buy it.

The only pasta at our local Tesco last week was some organic green and red stuff, made of lentils or something, and priced at about £4 a pack.

Will probably still be there after the apocalypse.

Glad you're feeling better :) My coughing has gone from a constant hack to a tickle again and the temperature has dropped to normal. So who knows if I've had it or not. And now I'm off work for a week. Mad times

Have you thought about wanking into a sock?
