The idiocy (and selfishness) of panic buying

They need to start saying no.

Send the wankers away if they’re buying excessive amount.

Aldi near me told a twat with a trolley full of big rolls he couldn’t have them.
He went into a rage, GOBBED at the checkout operator and stormed out.

just come from home bargains and ASDA,,thats the worse i have seen it,,shelves stripped bare and people just picking up what remains,,cant see for one minute these supermarkets can be re stocked during the night

Army and police need to man these supermarkets- think how much of the virus is also spreading coz of all this.

I am worried about the Aldi 4 item limit on anything spreading to my local coop, if I can only buy 4 cans at a time I'll be constantly walking backwards and forwards. Unless its 4 multipacks a day in which case I should be able to manage with just the daily visit.
One of the boys tells me unless there's a let up in people hoarding there's a real possibility of the Aldi limit being reduced to two items only. The warehouse picking teams and drivers can't keep up with current demand. There's also talk of store staff being transferred into the warehouse.

I don’t understand why they aren’t now.

It’s ridiculous.

Been having a look around online,no loo roll but plenty of tissues still, buy a load of them whilst they are available
Was on the way to work this morning at 6.50am and drove past a BM and a Morrisons and the fuckers were queueing. What is the matter with these fuckers. Got to work and half of them had decided to self isolate and hadn't turned up. Great Britain at its best

Humans are very odd creatures.

Stupid and aggressive.
could have been polite, halved his order, and been sorted.
overheard a lady on the phone a couple days ago, she had spent a long time to overfill her trolley, she was at the back of the store in a 1/2 hr. min. lineup,
not cluing in it would be like that I guess, and she was saying "I don't know what to do, I think I am just going to abandon my trolley."
like it was a car in a flood or something, crazy.

With boris's latest announcement I think people will panic even more, it got me think have a got enough food to last a week, two weeks? The answer is definitely no and now im stupidly starting to panic like the twats I've been ridiculing!

Go, to the smaller shops. They seem to be ok.

Can swap for Turtle Wax.

Apparently the bog roll panic has spread to central Stockholm. They had a bloke from a bog roll factory in west Sweden on the news to calm peoples nerves.
"How many toilet rolls can you produce in your factory?"
"Well, we usally talk in "weight" but about a million rolls a day"
