Scientists have analysed the entirety of the novel coronavirus' genomic sequence to assess claims that it may have been made in a laboratory or been otherwise engineered.

Rumours linking the virus to the Wuhan Institute of Virology - based on geographic proximity, and without any endorsement from qualified epidemiologists - have also circulated.

Shortly after the epidemic began, Chinese scientists sequenced the genome of the virus and made the data publicly available for researchers worldwide

The fact you think it is way over the top is the precise reason they're having to make it a law. Some people still aren't grasping the seriousness of the situation we find ourselves in.

I just can't see it being enforced that's all, you'll still have loads of people going about their everyday lives, not taking a blind bit of notice. And yes, they should be fined.

The police down here in Cadiz are just fine. All these veiled comments re liberal UK Vs authoritarian Europeans are bollocks. The biggest problems in Spain appear to be drunken brits on holiday and the police are showing admirable restraint.
