There are lots of cafes,pubs that are doing a take away system to stay afloat,all food prepared and cook at home,if you can get out then use them and help small businesses stay afloat

My mrs actually went to get an Indian takeaway and sprayed the handle on the bag and then microwaved the already hot food to be sure! Please tell me she is insane and nobody else is doing this?

Do you need to be an expert to understand this problem? It's like a disaster movie. Outbreak or an asteroid heading to Earth. The science is straightforward but the solution is in part not even scientific, it's about creating social distance.

My quote was to someone with their made up theory about how the virus is man made etc.

Was told today that if they had ordered pubs/clubs/restaurants/cinemas etc to close the insurance claims couldve closed Lloyds of london down where as leaving the pubs high n dry would be less catastrophic.

Wife works for the NHS so looks like our children will remain in school, but unclear which one and where. Eldest is terrified about a possible new primary school, hope she comes round.

Just waiting to hear if the nursery for our youngest will be open. A lot to ask to put your kids in the care of complete strangers, even if they are teachers.

Appreciate we all have to pull together for the greater good here, but the stress it's putting on my family is immense. Must be the same for a great many tonight also.

Err...ventured to Sainsburys at 8:30 in the evening the other day...we wiped down the trolly handle with antiseptic wipes, used sanitiser all the way round, wiped down the tins, other products and smartshop checkout screen. Place was cleaner after we left then when we arrived.

Wife has now ordered medical grade cleaners, wipes and God knows what else. Probably a hazmat suit.

Has anyone been suffering with headaches?

I very rarely get them, in fact i am struggling to remember te last time i did have one.

But for the last week i have has a very mild but constant headache that i just can't shift.

I think that is a bit OTT lol but if she feels better there is no harm,i would wear gloves if i was going out now
