Think it’s safe to say we look fucked, figures here will be just the same as the currently worst affected, whatever the plan was it’s in tatters. In fact not sure there’s a plan that’s really working anywhere. Vaccines are the only saviour for many.Sorry mate but you are just mistaken about this.
Our daily deaths have NOT been increasing at the rate of +50% per day, or anything like it. And the past 2 days they have.
This therefore is not expected. The last 2 days deaths have been MUCH worse than expected. Hopefully a blip yesterday. And hopefully another blip today. As I said.

Semantics. You expect numbers to fluctuate and there to be variations from one day to the next. You also have a predicted number and if the actuals are higher than the predicted number (they are) then it is fair to say they are higher than expected.

We still have quite a bit to ride out before seeing any benefits from the lockdown. Utterly depressing numbers.
They mean +260 deaths today means the total numbers of deaths has increased by 34%. 759 yesterday + 260 = 1,019 today. 260 / 759 = +34%.
But the daily deaths has risen to 260 today and 181 yesterday. 260/181 = 1.44, i.e. +44%.
Ok makes sense.

I think some of you guys are getting way too hung up on figures, it's going to fluctuate and won't accurately (or perhaps even loosely) follow any predicted totals.

Lol, sorry chuck, I should have said it's for some eye cream she uses, not medicine. Actually that does raise the issue of what she has in stock and whether to reorder her medicines.local chemists are open as well unless it is something complicated

Still having issues with thick cunts not understanding social distancing. Just been down to the shop to get a few bits for my gran. Only me and this smack rat in the shop and she is stood right behind me when I am paying not even 10cm away, never mind 2 meters, despite signs all over the place and markings on the floor.
Fucking thick twats in this country. Feel so sorry for the poor shop workers who have to deal with people like this all the time.
It's the thing now striking me above all else. In the queue for the supermarket before, supposed to stand 2m apart. This idea was clearly foreign for the people behind us, but worst were the people trying to find the back of the queue, walking THROUGH the fucking queue?! I keep putting my arm out telling people to go around and they're looking at me like I'm crazy.
We've seen some good in people out of this so far, but going out at the moment convinces me above all else that we live in a society of selfish oblivious fucking idiots. Not to mention all the cunts jogging, not only failing to keep any distance, but heavily panting and spluttering as they go right past you. Just going to try and get everything delivered to me from now on.

Yeah, I've got a break coming up so I'll check with her then, we use an online re-ordering system up here so hopefully it'll be a bit quicker. I normally just do my bit online and go and pick up at the local chemists, I don't want to order early and stockpile but she can barely manage some days on the various painkillers, God knows what it'll be like for her with none.It is taking ages to get repeats from the drs so if she needs to do that she should do it today,the chemists are chocker trying to get them done
