You won't get 100% certainty from this for a very long time. No chance. There just won't be the numbers available and there will be anomalies popping up left, right and centre that will cause unnecessary panic - let's wait.

No not yet. But people will copy what works. If you're testing with those kinds of numbers you should be able to take a lot of infectious people out. perhaps the Germans are using a different kind of testing technology to us. We still can't test our heath workers. I think that's just getting off the ground this weekend.

I can't do anything,i can't move foward like anyone else,i worry for everyone,i am frustrated as i can't help my immediate friends and neighbours,i have joined the volunteers to call people on their own,that will make me feel better,i also feel guilty that healthy people have died and not me in my battered condition and have the post serious illness exhausted feeling,it is a weird come down

Its a bit clearer with a 100% growth rate. ln (1+100%) = ln 2 = 0.693. So K = 0.693 and e^0.693 = 2 (=1+100%).

I don't wear a mask but when you read that perhaps we all should. Droplets shouldn't be able to penetrate a mask and yet we were told that only health workers need them.

I wonder if he means overweight or overfat?
