Charlie Wilsons war is a really good film, granted PSH steals the show but a very good film none the less, you're showing what a great VAR ref you'd be with that Richard, you see one thing , everybody else sees another ;-) .

Please don;t compare me with the VAR refs. My wife has always said I have weird views on films. For instance I have always thought Julia Roberts is not attractive whereas everyone else seems to think she is beautiful.

I saw two Spanish films the last few days, The Platform and The Occupant, both on netflix. The Platform was ok, let down by a lame ending, The Occupant was better.

Same here re Ms Roberts. Don't get me wrong; I wouldn't kick her out of bed for getting digestive crumbs on the duvet, but I don't think she's particularly stunning.

I suppose a lot of it would have been down to how old you were when Pretty Woman came out.

I ordered 5 pairs of anaglph 3D glasses from ebay and we have been rewatching movies in 3D, Fianal destination 5, The Meg, Avatar, and The Great Wall.

The Man With The Iron Heart.

Basically goes over the same ground as Operation Anthropoid - the assassination of Heydrich in Prague in 1942 by the Czech resistance - and they were made within a year of each other. There is more focus on Heydrich and his pre-Nazi life and his personal life.

Still prefer the 1970's Operation Daybreak over both recent films though.

Avatar is one of the best cinema experiences I've had, I wasnt actually too amazed at the film, but the 3d effects were mind blowing
