He was nicked as they waded in to us on the park end. Somebody had nicked a practice ball pre kick off. Totally innocent of anything but a big lad who stood out. He got a good brief and took it all the way to no avail.

It was a Saturday game mate so couldn't have been night, it was bollock cold though and pitch black when we left the stadium so probably dec/Jan. I was only in my early twenties so it all seemed like a big adventure until leaving the ground.....

Think im confusing two diff away wins at Leeds....the Gerry Creaney 1nil..was that under Ball?
If so,Richard Edghill played a blinder at left back..
I also remember being there under Keegan i think and winning 1nil with Paulo Wanchope being absolutely brilliant/virtually unplayable..that was def a night match...Wanchope scoring the only goal.
