Also a runner and I'm taking care to avoid the few people I see. I'm running late at night and giving anyone I see a wide berth. I don't expect anyone to get out of my way - I avoid them.

By and large most people I see are respecting social distancing and a fight almost broke out in the queue for the local co-op when someone got to close.

I've never walked as much in my life.
But theres not much else to do
I'm not knocking it,is this what it takes to make people exercise?
IE.....if my neighbour was in a porn film, the camera would be on a naked woman on the bed....you would hear my neighbour moaning and groaning like there is no tomorrow, the camera would pan round, and there would be my neighbour, trying to get his socks off.
This fucker is in full gear now, jogging.

Going there again early tomorrow morning, do 5 miles and home again, never further than a mile from the house and easy enough to avoid close contact with anyone.

And for all the posters complaining about those taking exercise, it’s needed for a huge swathe of us to cope with various degrees of depression and other mental ailments. Some just have to get away from the house for their sanity.
It’s got quieter and quieter in there the last couple of weeks, which is the little snapshot I take. Handful of cars in car park, then there’s joggers, people on bikes, few young families etc, but generally pretty quiet.

To be fair @BLUEMATT23 i too am a runner but I have noticed when I'm out walking the dog that my fellow runners have been absolute tools. Not all, but a very high % will not concede an inch, even if it's meant me dragging the dog in the road. Don't get me wrong, I've seen the same from cyclists and the new brand of 'family walker' that until 3 weeks ago didn't navigate their local area other than in a car. I have a particular route I walk the dog twice or three times a week where I would only ever encounter one person at most. Yesterday, my none running day, I counted 35 other walkers, 17 cyclists and 9 runners. Just amazing.

Nail on the head. While I'm sure there are some considerate runners, the majority are absolute bellends so far. So so frustrating. The roads are dead in town where I live but it's me having to jump into the road to avoid runners ffs

So what are you going to do if they implement a full lockdown ?

No idea tbh, I’ve been spending the past 2 weeks gardening and done either a little walk with girlfriends lad through the woods behind the house or the 3 runs I’ve managed to do, I’m out early enough to avoid most people. Suppose I’ll have to do the Joe Wicks workout or something, not ideal though.
