in other news I see a Japanese Nobel prize winning scientist has said there is no way this came from a bat and that it is man made . If he is wrong he has said he will give up his Nobel prize.

They have. i read and said last week they are confident and they have started to manufacture 1 million doses. The point i make though is lets say 1 million doses a week are manufactured after the trial is successful. They have to be made and distributed and then given. lets say we do 1 million a week its still nearly 70 weeks to do the entire population. For the vast majority it is a long way off.

They are making the vaccine if it is proved safe before it gets regulately approval to save time,Astra can afford to take the hit if it is not given a licence,if it is they do they have three million doses ready to go

I also predict by next winter that face-masks will be a legitimate fashion item seen more often in UK streets. I know we're seeing a few already but the worry is the front line health workers need these before the 'influencers' promote them on the gram.

Ha 100% this. Made the same joke on twitter a few days ago. Deleted it as it felt a bit too cynical, but it's true. Mask fashion is gonna be quite insufferable, but if its done properly at least it'll keep people safe!

It's been a thing for ages in Asia. The top brands have made them for years for that market. Hence Dele Ali having an OffWhite face mask on when he racially abused the asian guy in January, they were already making them, although for air pollution more than viruses.

a man ate a bat as he probably has done for years and suddenly Covid 19 is born; or

a lab was working on virus in Wuhan and unfortunately Covid 19 is born.

I have no belief at all though that it would be done deliberately or maliciously.

Whether you can or can't stand her is irrelevant. She is announcing information and intentions to the Scottish people at the time she has carried out almost all her press conferences since the pandemic began, if you think there's an issue in her doing so I find that quite bizarre, if not utterly spiteful.

There are some in China as well,i really don't think anyone should be hanging their hat on two patients,i won't repeat myself again,the science is right there,as with football headlines,the story isn't quite the same

Bizarre that a bloke in Brazil (or is it Bolivia?) can be arsed getting worked up about the leader of a part of the UK.
