There are all sorts of implications. You walk where someone has coughed and it may be on soles of shoes when you get home or in the car.
Take shoes off at the door.
Or biosecurity like at farms with disinfectant trays (or don't leave the house).
It may not have survived on the ground or easily transfer to other surfaces but how would you know?
