They do deserve to win it. But then we deserve to be in the Champions League and that hasn't stopped them from trying to get us kicked out, so fuck them. But perhaps more importantly, nobody deserves to get relegated yet. Maybe you could make a case for Norwich, but we'd be relegating Bournemouth by a goal difference of 1 and Aston Villa even though they've played fewer games than anyone else (or if you did it on average points per games, Watford simply because Aston Villa never got to play their game against Chelsea - a game they would have likely lost). Finish it or cancel it. Any other outcome is completely unfair.
 
I think the government will and should stop this nonsense.
No football should be played whilst front line staff are awaiting testing and whilst hundreds of people are dieing every day.
Frankly it should be stopped until 2021, the prem and FA have acted disgracefully.

The club insures players against injury. The insurance won't cover Covid. Any player that gets Covid might have permanent and career-ending lung damage. Who compensates the club (let alone the player)?

The EFL are saying they need 66000 Coronavirus tests to complete the 2019-20 season. So that’s 66000 of us who may be ill or vulnerable missing out. Surely it’s the ill and vulnerable who should be tested first!

Well they do gain something, without us they wouldn't have the atmosphere that creates the spectacle they want.
 
Where the fuck is that twat Gordon taylor while all this is going on, the mans an absolute disgrace he should be out there fighting for the players demanding that the players are not playing any football until this virus has gone and it's 100% safe to play.
He's not been seen since this virus started, has the FA told him to keep his head down and keep his mouth shut
 
Once the players and managers get a vote then its all over in my opinion.
Pep has just lost his mum to Covid. Can't imagine he will be happy at risking his own, his familys or his players lives.
I can see the entire city squad refusing to play. I wouldn't care if they did either. No matter what the consequences are. Life is more important than football

And there you have it. What if a player gets coronavirus during the competition? We saw during our game against Arsenal that a few players merely having met someone with the virus was grounds to cancel the game. If a player gets it, then presumably the entire squad would then be unable to play as well as anyone they played against in the past 2 weeks. It's farcical to even attempt it.

you’d have to write next season off also as the virus isn’t going away and no vaccine in sight.
Many clubs will go to the wall. With no TV money and players on contracts.
