Look at it this way. Sunday league teams play with no significant crowds and yet play better on a home pitch than away.

There's loads of things that will factor into that, a better sense of field positioning, familiarity with the light, prematch rituals, sleeping in your own bed the night before, not travelling on a coach for 2 ~ 5 hours etc etc They're small advantages, but I totally see why the relegation threatened clubs would want every small advantage they can get.

It really is beyond belief. They keep banging on about preserving the integrity of the league but at the same time come up with shite like this. Neutral grounds having been bombed out by several clubs, so now they are trying to return to home & away grounds which even the mayor of dipperpool has said is a non starter for obvious reasons. Then, as you say, making up a formula for fictitious results. Integrity my arse. May as well just draw lots. Ridiculous.

They always go on in how the premier is so competitive top can beat bottom but they could use a points per games system! It’s easy null and void compensate the top 6 teams in the championship with the top team gets the most %.

They cannot push any of the shit proposed through and retain any credibility no matter what claptrap they spout. The fa cup and champions league possibly although I'm not in favour of any football unless fans are allowed in. The leagues no chance, not with 8/9 games to go and clubs having gained advantage from having played games at home in front of their fans, then the opposite team not having the same advantage.

As for giving Liverpool the league not a cat in hell's chance! France did it but it is written in their rules that if the season is halted the final league positions stand. It isn't here so Liverpool, the premiere league and the fa can fuck off!

Its the kit manufacturers. They have been very quick to get in with their own brand items which players decide to wear. Snoods, gloves in warm weather, long sleeved undershirts to wear with short sleeved shirts, cycling shorts, etc. All faintly ridiculous but they seem to think it worthwhile.

Why are these workers being treated differently to others ? I along with others havent stopped working and all we get if lucky is a mask and vinyl gloves. Is it because their employer can afford to pay for this ?
