Another positive experience for jet 2 here no issues with a full refund. Certainly will use them for the next holiday when finances are sorted.
Too late now, obviously. And sounds like you've already realised this, but never book through those agents on SkyScanner. You'll have plenty of people tell you that they had no problems, but the cowboy outfits on SkyScanner are almost universally a nightmare to deal with when you need to.I really can't see any holidays abroad taking place until at least October.
Should be going to Bali in June but flight has already been cancelled (obviously). Booked Emirates flights but through an agent (on skyscanner), Emirates won't speak to us until we've gone beyond the 22nd June, and can only speak to the agent.
I thought about rebooking flights with the agent for late September but my fear is that passengers will be screened on entry and there's the risk of being turned away. I think places may be a little tense with precautions in place, will probably suck any enjoyment out of holidays. Also not sure what cover there is on rebooked flights. Agent is coming across as a cowboy outfit, wanted a chunk of money for the refund on flights.
Think I'm going to wait past 22nd June and obtain an open 24 month flexi return ticket from Emirates. Happy to go in 2021 and actually enjoy the trip when things have calmed down.

Use SkyScanner to search for flight options, but always then go direct with the airline that you choose. You may pay a small amount more, but that comes with far greater peace of mind should circumstances change.
Yes, you’ll lose the lot if they go under.Royal Caribbean had 10k of my money.
They've given us a third in cash and the rest in cruise credits.
Wanted full cash.
I've just read an article saying that they're on the verge of bankruptcy.
So I lose my credits ?
Twats.
They have to give you cash refund by law, but this is the reason I wouldn’t take voucher, did you pay by credit card? Do a charge back.Royal Caribbean had 10k of my money.

Who did you book the van with? Might try one before I take the plunge and buy one.We booked a VW camper van and plan to take a couple of weeks camping in Switzerland. We're always putting off camping trips to go abroad so only logical to spend some time enjoying our countryside
I might be able to claim off my CC if they go bust.Yes, you’ll lose the lot if they go under.
Can't mate, I cancelled it on the advice of my doctor. (Asthmatic)They have to give you cash refund by law, but this is the reason I wouldn’t take voucher, did you pay by credit card? Do a charge back.

Ive 2 weeks booked of mid July that I cant really move and we were hoping to go to Croatia/Greece.Hoping there will at least be places open in UK/Ireland by then but if pubs and restaurants are shut not sure there is much point.

I had a similar situation with Etihad, I booked flights through an agent, and when Etihad initially cancelled, the choice was voucher or rebook only, but it recently changed to that UK, US, and Swiss customers could get a full refund.
The agent is still asking me to take the voucher, and they keep emailing me, and I only have to click the button in the email, but I'm refusing to do that (still emailing me every few days). I eventually got through to a person at the agents, who despite trying hard to convince me to take the voucher, I insisted they request a refund from Etihad as per the Etihad website, and they started the procedure, once it was obvious I wasn't going to just accept things so I'm hopeful.
Meanwhile I've saved every email from the agent and Etihad, and have asked my credit card to pay me back, as the service paid for was never provided, and they are now pursuing it from that side as well.
