Im not sure anyone thinking a day at the beach with thousands of other people is in any way being responsible.
In terms of spreading the virus? How exactly should that work?

To bloody true.
And yet Whitty, Vallance and the rest of the Quatermas team are STILL peddling the bollox that it doesnt effect transnission much. I call that out as complete bollox. The science is now clear and the figures are fucking stark.
Immediate near universal (80%+) adoption of moderately (50%) effective masks could prevent on the order of 17–45% of projected deaths over two months of an epidemic.

Why not simply tell the truth and they didn't want the UK public grabbing all the surgical marks that were available because the NHS needed them? Most would have taken that message to heart.
Well firstly id say don't go to the beach, but clearly people think thats a good idea. Secondly if you get to the beach and see its packed with thousands of people, turn round, go home and stay safe. Its not complicated at all, in fact id say its very simple. In terms of spreading the virus? How exactly should that work?
I watched a clip of Southend beach last night and it just made my heart sink. It was like a scene from benidorm in mid july. The conclusion i drew from it is that a lot of people genuinely don't give a fuck and screw the consequences to the rest of the country.

"I CAN'T GO BACK TO WORK AND MY KIDS CAN'T GO BACK TO SCHOOL. IT'S FAR TOO DANGEROUS FOR ME, MY FAMILY & OTHERS."
"Right, it's a lovely day. Let's all take a trip to the beach."
It's women mate. Dithering at the bar. Unable to get barman's attention. Waiting a fucking age to get served then wondering what they might have, then fucking about looking for their purse. Know what you want, get the barman's attention, tell him, have your money ready.Nope not often, and certainly not for a pint of Greenalls bitter which was what was on offer in my days of regular attendance. Even pubs I have walked out of if it involves waiting for ages for a pint. I cannot even begin to understand the daft twats who at Xmas not only queue for half an hour to get in the boozer, to then queue for even longer to get a beer. Daft Twats, oh and having done all the queuing then get financially raped upon coughing up for your drinks. What a load of bollocks that is too.
On verra...70 cases out of circa 1.4m is 0.005%. That is far better than the 0.8% amongst the PL. Bad news for the 70 who have the virus but if the world has to stop for 0.005% then we all might as well go to Dignitas
To show, "we are doing something".Missus runs 2 schools, both academies, both early doors...out of 81 teachers they have 16 who can actually come in. But not at the same time. Staggered to minimize the risk. No actual curriculum will be taught. Max 8 to a class. no games. No toys. Not even the child's proper teacher in most cases.
800 kids, around 80 are saying they are coming in.
And the point of all this is?
You missed the bit about not being taught a curriculum.80 young kids getting an education ?
Yes I guess you are right. Add him to the iist.Surely it's Vallance that is in charge of the science of face masks and coverings?
35,000 confirmed dead, maybe tens of thousands more and everyone out there seems to be patting themselves on the back at what a good job we've done containing it.

The social distancing was being well observed on beaches. The big worry for me is the loos on the motorways on the way there and on the way back. Are they being regularly sterilised? Are there any aerial views from the beaches available?
We should be accurate when we assess the distancing.
Going out is a good thing as long as folks are aware and responsible.
I thought they'd kept toilets shut at services - designed to prevent long journeys. The social distancing was being well observed on beaches. The big worry for me is the loos on the motorways on the way there and on the way back. Are they being regularly sterilised?
I bet they aren't.
Careworkers got a special badge. World-beating.The phrase ‘World-beating’ Track and Trace system worries me. This is the government who informs, almost daily, that we are being lead by ‘the beat medical advice in the world’ yet our numbers of deaths suggest that can’t be the case.
If we were in the group of countries leading the would, shouldn’t our figures be nearer South Korea, less than 500?
Yet DfE have recommended that teachers should not wear masks - don't want to frighten the kids, make them think there's a virus or something.Presumably most people are wearing masks in public. If you consider that the main mode of spreading seems to be via stuff coming out of your nose or mouth, if you mostly block that, you're going to dramatically reduce the spread, even when people are in fairly close contact. It's night and day compared to the situation pre-lockdown.
My pet hate too. Its like they forget they have to pay for it until told toYou know it well mate, my blood pressure is rising just thinking about it. How I havent got myself in trouble in a supermarket when they insist on unloading and then bagging a trolley full of shopping before then starting the five minute ritual of searching for their purse before selecting about three different cards that are needed to pay for the shopping and be topped up with various points that might at some distant point in the future entitle then to 10% of a large tin of spaghetti hoops. Non of the cards work correctly of course and so there is much swiping and tapping off keypads before they finally fuck off about 20 minutes after they started. Fucking idiots.
