Alexandole Boris de Pfeffel Johnson

Why is anyone surprised that a man whose arrogance and laziness have been a long standing features of his make up, turns out of to be out of touch and arrogant as Prime Minister.

And, lazy, obviously, his number one defining characteristic.

He was lazy and wanted to be given special treatment at school:

https://www.thelondoneconomic.com/n...esurfaces-online-and-it-explains-a-lot/25/03/

He was lazy and a liar as a journalist:

https://www.theguardian.com/comment...ris-johnson-prime-minister-tory-party-britain

He has consistently lied to cover his shortcoming whilst a politician.

He was lazy and considered to be possibly the worst Foreign Secretary ever, with no grasp of detail before he was Prime Minister:

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2019/jul/18/what-diplomats-really-think-about-boris-johnson

He was too lazy to attend five Cobra meetings (unheard of for a PM) in the lead up to an era defining epidemic:

https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/...n-britain-sleepwalked-into-disaster-hq3b9tlgh

And now he knows that he is too lazy and ignorant to function as a Prime Minister without the bloke who does all the thinking and day to day decision making for him (again, unheard of for a Prime Minister). Hence, he feels it is unconscionable to consider what others, from across the political spectrum, consider to be the only - and correct - option.

The country really needs to consider how such a charlatan has not been weeded out as totally unsuitable for office years before getting anywhere near power.

Perhaps, in the era of Trump, people are just thankful that he isn't as bad or horrible as that farce of a human being. But it is almost impossible to argue that he is not the least fit - in terms of attitude, ability, honesty and intelligence - Prime Minister of the UK in living memory. So much so that it is not even close.

There was no shortage of people that warned the electorate about his record, and his shameful lying about proroguing parliament in the first months of his tenure should have made it clear to all but the most blinkered that he is totally unsuitable as PM.

Unfortunately a combination of the religious fervour of the Brexiteers combined with an ineffective insipid opposition leadership secured a huge majority that his talents did not deserve and left us in the ridiculous position where our PM has to be told what to do by an advisor and he is shit scared of having to make decisions himself if he lost that advisor.

We’ve got exactly what we voted for. A useless idiot that is doing untold damage to our country being controlled by a man whose agenda suits only his backers and not the majority of the country.

You haven’t even mentioned the obvious lack of moral compass as illustrated by his string of affairs, failed marriages, illegitimate children and broken relationships.

It was blindingly obvious to anyone with half a brain that this prick was unsuitable for office as soon as he threw his hat in the ring. But a large part of the country haven’t got half a brain, and he has behind him the man who could sell any lie and spin any story to that section of the population. That’s why he won’t give Cummings the push: he knows he is nothing without him. Nobody else can polish his turd quite as well.

Thing is the laziness is part of him - anyone with an ounce of fucking honour or realism would be thinking " rightho Boris time to pull my finger out" ....but he can't - he is totally unable to change his approach to life - shagging - spare kids - wives - bridges - missed Cobra meetings - holidays - its all part of him and there to see - if he was Churchill he would have come out and been Churchill. Churchill was made PM but not universally acclaimed so he came out and did the " Blood sweat toil and tears" speech. Backs against the wall? " Fight them on the beaches". Over the hill? " Never have so many owed so much to so few ". Johnson chose to send out Matt Hancock and Gavin fucking Barwell !! He isn't Churchill - he isn't even Chamberlain - its an insult to Chamberlain to suggest that because at least Chamberlain tried to do something - Johnson is a cowardly **** who liked the idea of becoming PM - always wanted to boast of having been PM but hasn't the work ethic ( even if these were normal times ) to do the middle bit and be fucking PM. Congratulations to all who put the lazy **** in office.

Newsnight nailed their colours to the mast tonight. At last. No fucking about. Called it as we all know it - utter bollocks

Quite right as well. They think we are all mugs. Two months sat inside, no sport, no shopping, no going to the pub, kids driving people mad and they think this is fine and will blow over. It wont. People are ragging.

I'd like to point out that I hated Corbyn, thought he was dangerous, but i voted for him as i calculated he was a less worse option than Johnson. A hung parliament would have been the only good outcome.

Same here - I never thought Corbyn was the be all but I hoped for a hung parliament to rein in the excesses of Tory madness. Oddly the pandemic and their avoidance of timely action is more of an excess for now than the disaster that will be Brexit. Hey ho - it won't be pretty but they can own the disaster.

Johnson loved the idea of becoming PM; loved the idea of having been PM. It's that tricky bit in the middle...

Ah, but, he'll get Brexit done. And that's what really counts. Ask @Bill

Both mates of the same ****.

fuck me - this in itself should bar someone from national office.

From a Brexit pov just think about this an unelected not even adviser is advising an unlelected adviser telling the PM what to do - if anyone who was angry about the set up of the EU can see this sort f thing and accept it then they are completely devoid of any reason.

That is the big question.

The public don't have a say in the internal processes to elect the leaders of the two establishment parties. If they did, Johnson would have been weeded out and so would Corbyn. That needs to change if things are going to get better.

Personally, even though I think the handling of coronavirus is the biggest fuck-up in living memory, I find it hard to blame anyone who voted in the 2019 General Election, which basically boiled down to whether you wanted to be punched in the face or kicked in the bollocks.

Many of them will be raging even more when they discover that they’re losing their jobs. They’ll then be sat inside, no money, so no sport, no shopping, no going to the pub, and everyone driving them mad. When looking for scapegoats and people to hold responsible, those that didn’t do their ‘civic duty’ will be an easily identifiable target.

Its another 9 years at least of Tory bullshit Mat, that's why they can afford to take this cavalier attitude to government because they know Starmer is just like them and the Labour party is in a worse state than the Tories. I was thinking about what I wrote the other day about Johnson and how he must go, but then I look at the rest of the halfwits in the Tory party and think, maybe Johnson for a Tory is the least worst option, at least he ain't a real psychopath like Gove or just plain stupid like Priti Vacant. Johnson may be a liar, a narcissist, a philanderer and a **** with a stupid haircut and an over inflated ego but the rest of them are far fucking worse.

I threw my Labour party membership in the bin and I am thinking of joining the CPGB or the Workers Party. Starmer I am certain will make Labour a rejoin the EU party and it will become the party of the metropolitan liberal elites, I am no liberal and I am have fuck all to be elitist about.

I initially thought about doing this but couldn't see much to be gained in the short term ..... so Im playing a waiting game to see what happens. As a likeminded friend pointed out ... nothing rallies the Tories more and quicker round the PM than being criticised by Labour. Theres no need for Starmer to openly have a pop at the Conservatives when they are tearing themselves apart from within .... or as my mates says ' you don't get involved with rats fighting in a sack'

Starmers priority is to get elected , nothing more , nothing less. It might not be the socialist Government that the majority of the Labour party wanted but its got to have more concern and empathy for the working class than the Conservative party.
