Jesus some people are naive. It matters not what club bigwigs say in interviews. If Bayern want Sane they do exactly what we do when we want someone ie get in touch with their representative and begin the negotiating process.

when have we repeatedly for 2 seasons, publicly pursued a player from another club - to the extent that all out major officials have spoken about him to the media & many of our players have publicly stated they want to play with him?

BM are a despicable club - arrogant and entitled. They are used to getting their own way & have a huge say in UEFA.

if you condone what they are doing, why are you posting on our web site

I’ll be gutted when he goes. I think he has the potential to be one of the top 5 players in the world and he has been missed this season.
And he couldn't get into our team regularly the season before that. I think he is quite some way off being a top 5 player in the world. And that does not mean he is not great every now and then. But in the league with Messi and Ronaldo. Come on

Didn’t know it was your website.

My point is that regardless of big wigs feeding quotes to the media, what’s gonna happen is gonna happen anyway and it’s all going on in private. Don’t understand why people get so het up about it. Similar allegations were levelled at us re the initial Mahrez inquiry, it’s all just media tittle tattle. Why do you care so much about a few throwaway quotes ?

Great player, huge potential but I wonder if he's got the desire to be a top 5 player, sulks when he gets dropped, his body language can be awful and one of the attractions of jumping ship is regular first team football - if he genuinely believed he was top 5 material might he not stay here under Pep and fight for his place - seems to be taking the easy option.

They’re not throwaway quotes. It’s been a planned & concerted exercise from start to finish. Just because “it happens” doesn’t mean it’s right or that we should just sit back and accept it. Especially as if we’d been tapping up one of their players for 2 seasons until his contract wound down - I’m pretty sure there’d be official action from that independent UEFA organisation

Thats why I said Potential. He isn’t there yet but at his age he has potential to become. We have missed him this season.

Ultimately though regardless of what uli or Karl Heinz say it’s down to Leroy. If he tells em to do one when they make contact then their little comments don’t mean squat.

If one is of the mindset that someone is to blame when a player leaves us, which I’m not, then the obvious culprit is Leroy. It’s all in his hands.

If I had the contacts I could continually leak quotes to the press revealing my intention to bed Rita Ora but without the lovely Rita’s acquiescence I’m gonna be left disappointed aren’t I

Exactly. That's their game plan in Bundesliga also which lets them have players at a cheap. The tap players to such an extent that players stop signing deals and the other teams have to sell the players to Bayern at a dirt prices. If I remember correctly they have bought a young goal keeper from Schalke(Was suppose to compete with Neuer and Ter Stegen for the German team) and threw him on the bench. They wanted the same for Gundogan and Sane but we supposedly went ahead and paid the fair price. The quotes from German players, coaches and the entire Bayern hierarchy about Sane really undermines our club.

You and Rita wouldn’t be breaking any rules. Bayern are.

Mourinho’s record stands up against pretty much anybody’s. Whatever he had he seems to have lost but a few barren years after a decade of success doesn’t constitute long term failure. I wasn’t aware that he managed by fear and intimidation, many ex players of his are almost embarrassingly gushing in their love for him.

But yes we’ve no reason to mistrust or mistreat Leroy at all what with the contribution he’s made to City. If he goes he goes but while he’s here I’ve got every faith in him.
You alluded to it yourself when you said "whatever he had he seems to have lost". He's lost the trust and respect of many people due to his treatment of individual players (e.g. Luke Shaw, Kevin De Bruyne), his behaviour (e.g. eye gouging) and his reluctance to accept any responsibility of failure.

You make some good points - the eye gouging incident in particular opened a window into his soul but I think his relative decline can be attributed to the game moving on tactically rather than his personality flaws. For every Shaw and a KDB there’s a Materazzi and a Cole ready to proclaim undying love for him. Player power in general and particularly under the appalling pogba at Utd has advanced to such an extent that almost any kind of discipline is seen to be unacceptable and so maybe Jose’s tough love mantra won’t wash anymore.

It's not about player power, it's about trust and respect. It works both ways.

It does work both ways and the way the Chelsea squad downed tools on him was disgraceful and purely about player power. They all know now that the manager is dispensable as financially a club can’t risk the losses that come from offloading disgruntled primadonna players on the cheap. Same at Utd, he was their most successful manager since Ferguson yet Pogba and his idiot followers didn’t like being told to stop posting pics of their latest haircut so the manager has to go.
