I'm annoyed with City not reporting Bayern Munich for tapping up Leroy Sane. Nothing to do with the contract negotions we done all we could to keep him, Bayern turned Sane head a long time ago with nothing done about it. City should not of let it happen.

I'd tell Bayern and every other interested club they have a cut off date to forward an acceptable offer otherwise he stays until his contract ends. It's a gamble but do the player and club want to wait another year?

We then have a decent player for another year if he stays and if he sulks play him in every reserve game and burn him out, not our problem as he'd be leaving on a free anyway.

It is good that a decision has been made so all parties can move on. I would not let him go to Bayern for a bargain price though. If they are not willing to pay our asking price make him serve out his contract - if this happened and Sane has any sense he would knuckle down and make the best of it - careers are short so losing another season would be crazy.

As opposed to lose the money to buy a replacement, pay his wages for no return, derail the following season by never playing him and therefore keeping an unhappy player around the dressing room. Yes that will do wonders for morale. Absolutely ridiculous.
