I think a lot of people on the outside have taken the time barred aspect to mean we were guilty but got off with it because it was too long ago.
However, I'd have thought that if it was too long ago it would never have been considered. I.e.
Uefa: City did this in 2014
City: that's outside the time period
Panel: agreed it's outside the time so we aren't going to listen to it

Here’s the thing , I don’t get this time barred shit at all.
We took a pinch back then anyway and we have effectively been investigated twice for the same thing.

if you informed the any averagely semi interested football fan I bet they would have absolutely no idea of this.
In fact most blues miss this.

Good job investing in shopping malls is not against other sector rules then.
The way how things are going in USA malls may not be the wisest financial investment due to mounting debt however the Glazers are free to invest where they like and will quite rightly defend there right to use their own money as they like.

This is the joke I use with my Utd friends.

Did you hear that City 'got away' with FFP and disguised owner investment?

I was really surprised and tbh a bit shocked to learn the reason why. Well to get the ban overturned City had to admit to CAS the real source of all that money.

Apparently Sheikh Mansour owns all Utd debt and the Glazers are his secret business partners. So you know that 1 billion that the Glazers have taken out of Utd. That has gone directly to fund all Citys expenditure over the last 12 years.

Yeahh. I was shocked too. Its an outrage. Something must be done..etc..

But I really want to say to you mate is, thank you! Really mate. THANK YOU! You remember that Utd shirt you bought in 2011. That helped pay for Aguero...

You can make up endless scenarios of noodle partners and London reds helping us to win trophies.

Keeps me amused anyway. ;)

Wouldn't paying off the debt be treated exactly the same as owner investment under FFP anyway?

Had to “have words” with one of my granddaughters the other day, she didn’t like the outcome as it didn’t suit want she wanted to happen. Went into a right strop. Whilst she was banging about I read the comments of Tebas, the Germans etc. I thought, she’s 14, what’s their excuse?
