Liverpool This bastions of FFP breached financial fair play rules. UEFA accepted Liverpool’s explanation for spending beyond acceptable thresholds during the 2011-12 and 2012-13 campaigns. UEFA’s Club Financial Control Body investigated Liverpool after the Reds reported losses of £40.5 million ($66 million) for a 10-month period in 2011-12 and £49.8 million ($81.2 million) for the 2012-13 season. UEFA’s FFP rules prohibited clubs from losing £35.4 million ($57.7 million) over the two-year period spanning the 2011-12 and 2012-13 seasons. The Reds spent beyond those levels, but a large chunk of their outlay — around £49.6 million ($80.9 million) was devoted to stadium costs, which falls under UEFA’s “special exemption” category. Would like to see those invoices!

Well you wont see the stadium alterations they supposedly relate to, that's a certainty !

It still cant believe they spent a million pounds on fireworks for a celebratory event nobody could attend and was being choreographed for sky. What a thoroughly weird, self indulgent and cringeworthy thing to do. I’d be utterly embarrassed if City had done that

FFS it fucking means more - how many times do you need telling ?

They breached FFP rules twice. In 2013 they escaped punishment by being so shite they didn't qualify for Europe thereby falling outside UEFA's investigation and punishment remit. In 2015 they were on the brink of failing FFP again until they magicked up £50 million in non-existent 'stadium development expenses' from years before for the phantom Stanley Park Project which they used to offset against their FFP losses. They got a free pass from Parry and their other pals in UEFA for that blatant fraud.

How much did Sky fucking contribute ?

Am I right in saying liverpool fans behaved last night and didnt turn as they nothing posted on here from Facebook etc. I saw some at the coach welcome,

Better than we expected. Only 9 of them rounded up. However, chief copper her is an open Kopite and the police did nothing to stop this.

Dixie Dean survived the night for once as well.

imagine trying to get your staff furloughed then spending £1m on fireworks hahaha, it's laughable really. The people's champions though, the ones who stuck it to the man.
None of the media will run this angle though as they are too scared. See BBC is asking for votes for best PL stories of the season, of course includes Dippers win v us (without mention of the cheating officiating) but does not inc our wn v them but one of the stories should be Dippers and Spurs originally claiming furlough

The best fans in the world right there

Ignored by the media and police

Is that the 'We've won the Asterisk League Dance ? Three steps forward whilst waving your arms in the air, 4 steps back shouting something but with your arms by your side and repeat until mummy says it is bed time ?
