George Floyd murder / Derek Chauvin guilty of murder

Despite lawsuits made by the NYPD Unions in an attempt to prevent the information going public ProPublica publish details of Police disciplinary records. The database lists active-duty officers who’ve had at least one allegation against them substantiated by the CCRB: That’s about 4,000 officers out of the NYPD’s 36,000-member force. Thirty-four officers have had 40 or more allegations against them.

This is really just the tip of the iceberg though as in another report there's this nugget of information: New York’s Civilian Complaint Review Board made 212 requests for body-worn camera footage in May. The NYPD sent only 33 responses, according to a memo obtained by ProPublica.

May be not as bad as 1st thought:

The NYPD addressed the viral video on its official Twitter "news" account.

"In regard to a video on social media that took place at 2 Ave & 25 St, a woman taken into custody in an unmarked van was wanted for damaging police cameras during 5 separate criminal incidents in & around City Hall Park. The arresting officers were assaulted with rocks & bottles," the NYPD said. "When officers from the Warrant Squad took the woman into custody in a gray NYPD minivan this evening, they were assaulted with rocks and bottles. The Warrant Squad uses unmarked vehicles to effectively locate wanted suspects."

Didn't see too many rocks or bottles flying around in the video though.

Portland and New York have strong Democratic influences but it’s not political according to William “Göring” Barr.
