Ah yea i remember Barnes in the KKK outfit it made the papers, but it was reported as being funny and very cutting edge humour if i remember right .

I think Rush was at Juventus at the time this was taken iirc
Aldridge was signed as a Rush replacement but was shown the door not long after Rush was brought back from Juventus.
Aldridge looks like Bob Carolgees so maybe he should give Carragher a call and revive the old double act.
He would make a better job of shoving his arm up spit than he does whenever he's asked for his expert analysis. This is the man who thinks Jordan Ibe is better than Raheem Sterling.

Thing is, as football fans we all do it to a certain extent: project ourselves onto our clubs and associate ourselves with their success when it comes along, when in truth we’ve had little meaningful impact into the outcome; but there have to be sensible limits to that - and the truth is only a Liverpool fan could fail to appreciate where that line is to such a conspicuous extent.They possess a lack of self-awareness that sets them apart from the rest of the football supporting world. They genuinely believe their club contains this unique force that sets it apart from all others.

It’s been said by others that the club displays many of the characteristics of a cult, and that’s certainly correct, but that’s more a reflection on the collective of their support - I think it’s equally worth observing that individually they have a greater proportion of supporters that (putting it as kindly as I can) display discernible mental deficiencies, usually borne from crushing insecurity, and the FKW medal manifestation has to be the exemplar of that.

Like I said, something to be pitied, not reviled.

I can debunk this totally as when Vinny was marauding down the pitch against Leicester I shouted shoot and I'm pretty sure he heard me over 55.000 voices thus having a very meaningful outcome on the season.

Is being brainwashed somethign associated with a cult? I've head two totally seperate conversations this week with liverpool fans. One we were chatting about Ake and i asked who he thought Liverpool would sign and he said probably no one as they never spend any money. The other was preeching how Klopp has done it on a shoe string and that makes him a far better manager than cheque book pep. I looked at the facts and Klopp has spent 330 million on players since he joined setting world records for keepers and defenders, but for some reason they genuinely believe they dont spen much money.

Some youngster in the Dippers squad being interviewed about his love for the cult. They asked what his preferred position is, I would have loved it if had said sweeper. His name is Hoever. :-)

Love the way dipper fans always have to tell you there opinion on all things football and who cares how much city spend on transfers isn`t like its coming out of the dipper fans giro`s is it.
Hate that team a lot more than the rags but i hate Bayern the most gobshites they are.
